Descripción

Viktor&Rolf Spicebomb Night Vision Eau de Parfum is an oriental fougère fragrance for men. Launched in 2020, this olfactive composition unfolds with a vibrant top note blend of green apple, cardamom, black pepper, nutmeg, chilli, cloves, lemon and grapefruit. The heart reveals a fresh, herbaceous harmony featuring lavender, mint, statice, rosemary, lentisc resin and coriander. To close, the base offers a warm, woody foundation composed of pistachio, nut notes, balsam fir, cedar, benzoin, Peru balsam, frankincense and labdanum, signed by the house's creative team.

  • It’s my own idea, but it smells like Invictus, yet of high quality, without that cheap, bad-taste aftertaste of the Puig version that smells like chewing gum. This one is rich, but at times it recalls Invictus too much, which detracts from its charm, at least for me. Undoubtedly, this has the class and presence that the Puig version lacks. If you’re an Invictus fan, this smells like quality compared to the other.

  • It’s my own take, but it smells like Invictus, albeit a high-quality version without that cheap, bad-taste vibe of the Puig Invictus which smells like bubblegum. This one is rich, but at times it has that aroma that reminds me so much of Invictus; with that, it lost its charm for me. Undoubtedly, this has the class and presence that the Puig version lacks. If you’re a fan of Invictus, this smells like quality next to the other.

  • As others have commented, it’s like Invictus, but without that sticky base and with more nuances that add complexity. I’m not a huge fan of Invictus-style fragrances, but if that’s your style, this is superior. The EDP version is more rounded than the EDT, being fresher and slightly more sophisticated.

  • I tried it a few days ago and didn’t perceive any difference at all from the EDT, despite claims of that ‘pistachio’ note; it’s not there, nor is it expected. It smells a bit more intense, and that disgusting apple-scented room freshener note 🍏 found in 90% of designer fragrances (including Layton) doesn’t convince me.

I tried it a few days ago and didn’t notice any difference from the EDT, although they say it has a pistachio note; it’s neither there nor expected. It smells a bit more intense, and that air-freshener green apple note 🍏 found in 90% of designer scents (including Layton) doesn’t convince me.

I share svazquez7’s opinion: the apple note is very prominent. The opening is intense and gives the impression that it will project like a beast, but it’s quite misleading. It’s spicy from the black pepper and red chilli, with green undertones. What happens with this Night Vision is that I like the fragrance, but it feels synthetic. For an EDP… I applied six sprays three hours ago and it’s already hard to detect on my skin. It lasts many days on clothes, but I don’t recommend buying it. The opening, which is strong, only lasts about half an hour before fading considerably. What a pity for this perfume; it was a blind purchase because I couldn’t test it in-store; I would have invested the money in another fragrance instead.

I agree with svazquez7: the apple note is very prominent and the opening is intense, giving the impression of projecting like a beast, but it’s deceptive. It’s spicy from black pepper and red chilli, with green undertones. With Night Vision, this happens: I like it, but it smells synthetic. For an EDP, after three hours with six sprays, it’s already hard to detect on skin. It lasts many days on clothes, but I don’t recommend buying it. The strong opening lasts about half an hour and then drops significantly. What a pity; it was a blind purchase because I couldn’t test it; I would have invested in another fragrance.

  • I’m a huge fan of this lotion; out of every five times I wear it, four earn me compliments. It’s contradictory: very green and fresh due to the citrus, yet retains the spiced, spicy character of the line. It’s my favourite among the non-original variants, and frankly, comparing it to the EDT is unfair: this one takes the crown, being more potent, long-lasting, and better quality. The best part is its evolution: it starts incredibly durable (I still detected it strongly on a tester after ten days) and changes interestingly; initially, the green notes dominate, but after two or three hours, the wood and a comforting nutty sensation appear. I highly recommend it. Regarding those who say it resembles Invictus, the truth is I haven’t smelled that one, but definitively this lotion doesn’t smell cheap.

  • I am a huge fan of this lotion; in my experience, out of every five times I wear it, four people compliment me. I love it because it’s contradictory: it has those green, fresh scents (the citrus note is unmistakable), yet it doesn’t lose the spicy, kick of the Spicebomb line. It’s my favourite among all the variants other than the original, and frankly, I think comparing it to the EDT is unfair; this one wins hands down. It’s more potent, lasts longer, and feels higher quality. What I like most is how it evolves over time: it’s super long-lasting at first—I left it on a tester and it still had sillage and power after ten days. It develops interestingly: green dominates at the start, but after two or three hours, it shifts, revealing more wood and a comforting nutty warmth. I highly recommend it. For those who say it smells like Invictus, the truth is I can’t say I’ve smelled that one, but it definitely doesn’t feel cheap.

  • Although the opening is a bit rough with citrus, black pepper, and a tobacco hint, it turns sweet when it dries down. It’s like the Ultramale from JPG, but with green apple instead of pear.

  • Vitinello

Although the opening is rough with citrus, black pepper, and a touch of tobacco, it becomes sweet as it dries down. It’s like JPG’s Ultramale, but with green apple instead of pear.

  • Very similar to the EDT but much richer in spices; I clearly detect cardamom and nutmeg. Superior longevity and a bolder trail. The coriander doesn’t drive me crazy and fades quickly.

  • Very original and sexy! If you’re looking for a spicier, less overused Spicebomb than the Extreme, this is the one for you.

  • Very unique and sexy. If you’re looking for a spicier, less overused Spicebomb than the Extreme, definitely choose this one.

Undoubtedly one of my favourites, a complex aroma unlike any other on the market. At first, you get fresh, mentholated green apple with a touch of pepper. As it dries down, the apple remains but you start to notice the nut and pistachio notes. It’s a fresh, substantial men’s fragrance, ideal for young people and nights out, though it could be versatile.

  • CGRTheReal

Undoubtedly one of my favourites; a complex and unique scent. Upon spraying, it opens with green apple, menthol, and a spicy kick from pepper; as it dries down, the apple remains while walnut and pistachio emerge. It’s fresh, substantial, ideal for young people and nights out, yet versatile enough for other occasions.
