Undoubtedly one of the brand’s best releases, bringing something truly distinct to the market. A very original scent with good longevity. They’ve improved the presentation, and overall it’s an excellent proposition with fig leaf as the star. This brand is really hitting the spot.
Top choice for warm or mild weather. The initial spray feels like biting into candied fig – super meaty and craveable, with citrus notes that make your mouth water (note: it’s not gourmand). Over time it becomes sweet yet herbal, like freshly cut fig leaf, finishing on green fig. Excellent longevity of around six hours, quite potent, a multifaceted and delicious fig experience.
I really liked it. The opening didn’t grab me; it opens with sharp lime and mint. Then it evolves into an astringent fig leaf, a bit of musk is noticeable, and it finishes on a note I can’t identify but feels creamy and sweet, I suppose it’s the fig. Ideal for a fresh morning, a day after rain, or with evening heat.
I tried the decant as soon as it arrived (within half a day) and only noticed something sweet with fig and astringent undertones. A few days later, I tried it again on a fresh morning and what a difference. It starts as a fruity cocktail with Italian lemon, and after half an hour the fig becomes creamy, powerful, with excellent projection.

The notes transport you straight to a fig tree, as if you were walking beside one; it smells incredibly realistic. Longevity is around 6 to 8 hours, with beastly projection for the first two hours and a noticeable trail. As it dries down, the mint and ginger really stand out. I got it at an excellent price and the packaging is stunning, everything is so well cared for. I was blown away by Castanez’s attention to detail; I ordered directly from their website and received complimentary decants, ufff, I’m sure I’ll be testing more of their products soon.
