About Sustainability
Sustainability by VLH: Leafy Greens, Gardenia and Dark Chocolate
VLH launches Sustainability in 2026, a new fragrance created for men and women. The nose behind it is Lesya Volkhonskaya.
It’s a perfume built on opposites: sharp green leaves, lush white flowers, bitter cacao and soft woods. The result is more intriguing than you might expect.
The top notes feature galbanum and blackcurrant leaf. Galbanum delivers a green, resinous bite, while blackcurrant leaf introduces a curious fruity-herbal nuance. It’s an opening that feels fresh and modern.
Dark chocolate and gardenia form the heart. The gardenia is lush and creamy, a classic white floral; the chocolate is dry rather than sugary. Their pairing is unusual but works surprisingly well.
At the base, Tolu balsam and sandalwood create a smooth, comforting finish. Tolu balsam brings a soft vanilla-like resin, and sandalwood adds a creamy, woody depth. The lasting impression is warm and polished.
The official accords include green, warm spicy, powdery, chocolate, aromatic, woody, white floral, sweet, balsamic and amber. That’s a wide palette, giving the scent different moods throughout the day.
This is a unisex fragrance with broad appeal. It feels at ease in the office, but it’s especially satisfying in autumn and winter, when its warmth can truly shine.
Current rating stands at 4 out of 5, though only one review has been submitted so far. Early signs are good, and the fragrance deserves a proper wear test.
Those who like unisex perfumes with a green, floral and slightly gourmand personality. It should also appeal to lovers of white flowers and creamy woods.
Sustainability is an assured and distinctive composition: green and leafy at the top, floral and chocolatey in the middle, woody and balsamic at the base. Lesya Volkhonskaya has created a fragrance that feels both contemporary and timeless.
