I’d never heard of this brand before; I bought it solely for the notes and the recommendation from the perfumerie I usually shop at, and what a surprise. It’s been ages since a fragrance has left me this impressed: a dark, smoky opening, with tobacco and woods becoming noticeable after 20 minutes, drying down to a delicious woody sweetness. They couldn’t have chosen a better name for this absolute gem of a perfume.
