  It’s a perfume with just a hint of sugar. The first thing you notice are the smoky tobacco notes, a very soft vanilla, amber, and some dry woods. My nose doesn’t pick up the other notes listed on the website. Overall, it feels powdery and definitely unisex. It’s ideal for summer because it’s subtle and doesn’t bother either the wearer or those nearby.

  I completely agree with the previous review. For my taste, a great lover and seeker of scents with tobacco, it was one of the greatest disappointments I have ever had. Very light, sweetened tobacco with vanilla, all very EDC and not especially sharp or with a sense of quality at a price difficult to justify. Nothing more to say and a fiasco for the writer. I differ regarding the performance. For me, it cost me to smell it after 15-20 minutes unless I pressed my nose right against the skin, clearly…

  I completely agree with the previous review. For my taste, a great lover and seeker of tobacco scents, it was one of the biggest disappointments. It’s a very light tobacco sweetened with vanilla, all very EDC, without any sense of sharpness or quality, at a price hard to justify. Nothing more to say and a fiasco for the writer. I disagree about the performance; it took me 15-20 minutes to smell it, unless I pressed my nose right up against the skin, of course…

  I can’t complain as it smells nice, but it’s not the miracle everyone claims. They say it doesn’t last, but it does for a while on me, haha. If you test Al Haramain Prive Silver against this and give it to two people without them knowing who wears what, in a blind trail test, you won’t notice any quality differences. One costs €12 and the other €100. The scent is that tobacco aromatised with synthetic vanillin which tires me out a bit; it feels slightly artificial and cloying. It starts more woody then becomes sweeter, presumably due to the amber and malt. It’s not my type; it feels a bit overwhelming.

  I truly don’t understand the bad reviews; this is an absolute gem. It was like Bvlgari Black, the one that smelled of burnt rubber, a true beauty and avant-garde in its day. I tried it today in a shop at 5 pm, with heat and near the sea. I liked its refreshing opening and was surprised because I expected something darker. I couldn’t stop smelling it on my arm over and over. Suddenly, it reminds me of a familiar perfume (ummm, that drives me mad), but I know the name of that other scent will come to mind. And it did: one of my first loves, Bvlgari Black, the one that took my breath away. Well, Tabacco Toscano is there at 11 pm and it continues to seduce me.

  I truly do not understand the bad reviews of this perfume because this is a bloody miracle. Just as Bvlgari Black was in its time, which smelled of burnt rubber. A true beauty and a vanguard perfume for its moment. Tested today in a shop at 5 pm on a hot day near the sea. I liked its fresh opening and was surprised because I expected something darker. I could not stop smelling it on my arm over and over again. Suddenly, it reminded me of a familiar perfume for me (umm, that drives me mad), but well, I know that at some point from my olfactory memory the name of the other will come out. And so it was: one of my first loves, Bvlgari Black, a perfume that changed everything for me, it blew my mind. Well then, the Tabacco Toscano is there at 11 pm, seducing me.

  I completely agree with Óscar López. My husband owns it, and when he uses it, the sensation it causes everywhere is incredible. No one fails to ask about the perfume. We tested it in Florence at the Officina Profumo di Santa Maria Novella itself, and it was instant love. At first, he smelled the Tobacco Toscano soap and bought it without hesitation. His face and gestures were incredible when smelling it. But when we changed rooms, we realised there was also this eau de cologne, and the spark was instantaneous. He uses it very occasionally, but I love when he wears it because I detect it immediately. For me as a woman, I feel it is very masculine with character, slightly rough, and with a hint of vanilla and leather that fascinates me. I cannot say it lasts short as others have claimed. It really lasts a long time on him, just as the trail is quite wide. Let me tell you, when he wears it, it is noticeable.

  I completely agree with Óscar López 👌🏼. My husband wears it and the impression it leaves is incredible; everyone asks about the perfume. We tried it in Florence at the Officina Profumo di Santa Maria Novella, and it was instant love. At first, it smelled of Tobacco Toscano soap, and he bought it without hesitation; his face and gestures were amazing when he smelled it. But when we moved to another room, we realised there was also this cologne, and the attraction was immediate. He wears it very occasionally, but I love when he does because I detect it straight away. As a woman, I find it very masculine, characterful, slightly rough, with a hint of vanilla and leather that I find fascinating. I can’t say it doesn’t last as others have claimed; it really lasts a long time, just like the trail, which is quite wide. Let me tell you, when he wears it, you notice it!

  I bought it in Florence and left Santa Maria Novella with both Angeli di Firenze and Tabacco Toscano on my wrists. When they dried and I discovered how wonderful it was, I returned to the shop to return the Angeli di Firenze; I don’t understand why it is so popular if, when it dries, it reminds me so much of J’adore by Dior, which I hate. The Tabacco Toscano transports me to cold days, sitting on a terrace with a warm jumper, drinking chocolate or coffee while smoking a cigarette. It is a unique scent; I have never smelled anything like it, and spraying it transports me back to the days of my honeymoon in Florence.

  This is the story of my first perfume love affair. After a trip to Florence and a visit to Santa Maria Novella, I returned years later determined to get lost in their scents. I stepped into the shop and noticed it had become more commercial, but I liked that because the first time the staff were wary. There I was with someone who understood my passion, though not quite as much: my new husband on our honeymoon. In front of me were rows of porcelain bells, and I began in order. The popurrì conquered me with its cloves, but when I approached the novice’s nose, the Tabacco Toscano woke something in my woman’s brain, accustomed to flowers. I opened my eyes, closed them again, and soaked myself in its aroma… it was the most wonderful, different, and unique thing I had ever smelled. I asked to put it on my skin quickly, also tried the popurrì, and took a walk. I let my companion smell them and he loved them, so I ordered both with their body lotions; I gifted him the popurrì, and there I was with my Tabacco Toscano, thrilled with my treasure. I have replenished it several times; I love it. It is sweet, intoxicating, hypnotic leaf tobacco for my nose that always wants more. It is true that it doesn’t last long on my skin, but even when I apply the most potent version, it always remains subtle. I use it in all seasons, but it is divine and cosy in winter, especially with a high-neck jumper soaked in it. Umm, absolutely delicious. And here I am, open to suggestions of perfumes with that tobacco note or similar that make my senses open up as this one did.

  This is the story of my first perfume love. After a trip to Florence and a stop at Santa Maria Novella, I returned years later determined to get drunk on all its scents. That afternoon I entered the officina and found it very changed, more commercial, which I liked because the first time I felt the staff were wary of showing me their blends. There I was with the person who understood my hobby, even if I don’t share it so much, hehe. My brand-new husband on our honeymoon. Opposite, several rows of porcelain bells and I started in strict order. The potpourri conquered me, oh yes, those wonderful spices with a dominant clove, but friends, when I approached my novice nose with the Tabacco Toscano, something in my brain, accustomed to flowers as a woman, woke up. I opened my eyes to see that wonder, closed them again, and brought the bell closer to soak in its aroma… it was the most wonderful, different, and unique thing I had ever smelled. I quickly asked to put it on my skin… I also wore the potpourri and decided to take a walk around the shop. I let my companion smell them and they loved them. Then, quickly and after some mental calculations, I went to the counter, ordered both with their body lotions, gifted the potpourri to my companion, and there I was with my Tabacco Toscano, thrilled with my newly discovered treasure. I’ve replenished it more than once; I love it. It’s a sweet-leaf tobacco, intoxicating and hypnotic for my nose that always wants more. It’s true that the performance on my skin isn’t very long-lasting, but it’s that, even if I apply the most potent on the market, on me it always stays subtle. I use it in all seasons, but it’s divine and cosy in winter with a high-neck jumper soaked in it. Uhmmm, absolutely delicious. And here you have me, open to suggestions of perfumes that have that same note or a very similar tobacco note, that make me open my senses in the same way as “The” one did.
