About Tea Amo
Tea Amo: Earl Grey Turned Dark with Smoke and Leather
Tea Amo by Acute is a fragrance for men and women, released in 2026 and composed by Claudio Zucca. Its premise is unusual: to take Earl Grey tea away from freshness and towards something nocturnal and enveloping.
At the outset come blackcurrant, bergamot and Earl Grey tea. The impression is sparkling yet tannic, with citrus zest and dark fruit laid over a properly brewed black tea.
The middle marks a clear change of mood. Tobacco and leather come to the fore, mellowed by honey and veined with smoke. It feels rich and dry at once, with a shadowed sweetness that takes the edge off the leather rather than hiding it.
The foundation rests on cedar and patchouli, woody and earthy, lifted by the dry greenness of oakmoss. Vanilla softens the contours and picks up the honeyed thread from the heart.
The balance favours the smoky, the sweet and the woody, touched by animalic, honeyed and mossy nuances. The blackcurrant is only an opening glint; soon the interplay of tobacco, leather and vanilla dominates.
Worn on skin, a faint bitterness from the tea persists. That veil stops the honey and vanilla from becoming weighty and keeps an elegant tension right into the woody trail.
For those who favour characterful unisex perfumes built around tobacco, leather and a woody vanilla base, and who would enjoy a smoky evening tea with restrained sweetness.
Tea Amo recasts tea as a whisper of smoke, honey and timber. A poised, dark-edged statement from Acute, carefully judged by Zucca.
