Thanaya is the new 2024 launch from Elixir Attar, pursuing the leather concept but without those familiar quinoline and molecule combinations. With a wealth of natural ingredients, they have managed to recreate a skin scent unlike anything you’ve ever experienced, with oud and castoreum taking centre stage. The prominent deer musk adds a velvety warmth, and together with the castoreum, it offers a light, non-offensive urinous note reminiscent of tanned leather. Don’t be alarmed by this, as exquisite flowers, particularly rose, soften it and make it more approachable. It boasts an endless array of notes; although some are subtle, they ensure the fragrance feels rounded and complete. Without a doubt, one of the finest leather scents you can smell today.
