Acordes principales
Descripción
The Majestic Amber by Alexandre.J is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2020, this composition was created by Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Amélie Bourgeois. The top notes unfold with vibrant peach and grapefruit; the heart reveals a harmony of davana, rose, and tonka bean; while the base notes complete the olfactory pyramid with tobacco, vanilla, ambroxan, patchouli, and amber.

I bought it and was gifted a sample. At first, it doesn’t work for me, but I’m sure others will adore it. A single drop and the peach already saturates me; although I won’t declare it, I’m certain it contains amber. If you like Kenzo Elephant, this is yours; it has that vibe that I find so striking in that perfume. The first two hours are intense, filling the whole house (with a single spray), but then it sticks to the skin without projection. Ideal for the cold, perfect for autumn.
I agree with MissOlores: the opening is a sweet bomb of ripe peach, grapefruit, and toffee, with that tobacco note I love so much. It’s a pity that on my skin the dry down becomes very muted, a soft amber with benjoin that’s barely noticeable. It doesn’t smell bad, but the price isn’t justified if it disappears in an hour and a half without leaving a mark.
It’s the vanilla of Kenzo Jungle without the spice shock. Personally, I don’t like it, but I bought it blindly and it’s refined. I hate Kenzo Jungle, but this is more bearable. After two hours, I don’t smell it on my skin, but I do detect the trail. Edit 29/10/24: the dry down of amber and patchouli is of extraordinary quality. Used at night after a bath, it’s wonderful the next day.
It’s the vanilla from Kenzo Jungle without that spicy kick. I don’t have much of a soft spot for it, but I bought it blindly and it turns out to be refined. I hate Kenzo Jungle, but this one lasts much better. After two hours, it’s no longer skin scent, just the trail. Edit 29/10/24: the dry down of amber and patchouli is absolutely brilliant. Worn at night after a shower, it smells divine the next day.
The house says it’s a tribute to Art Deco soliflores with a feminine, golden rose. It’s delicate, feminine, subtle, and refined (not to attract attention, but to please in an intimate encounter). The toffee takes on a special air with the davana, which gives a fruity and floral scent that interacts with your skin, defining the fragrance’s finish. Hindus use davana as an offering to Shiva; it has relaxing and aphrodisiac properties. Growing in southern India, I think it admits layering with patchouli, sandalwood, and jasmine; if you’re looking for more longevity and depth, try a base of those scents or ylang-ylang before applying The Majestic Amber.
I don’t know why this isn’t talked about more; it’s gorgeous. At first sniff, it screams luxury, wealth, and opulence worthy of a sultaness in her castle with jewels and servants. It opens with a distinct peach, sweetened with toffee and a few drops of soft grapefruit. After 30 minutes, the davana and rose with ambroxan emerge, mutating into a sweet, powdery, sophisticated rose with immense personality. It lasts 12 hours on skin and clothes until you wash them; it’s best-in-class, one of the longest-lasting in my collection. The packaging is pure elegance with a shiny box that makes it stand out. I recommend spraying it inside the box to catch a whiff when you open it. It suits those over 30, though if you’re younger, it will work well for special occasions.
I don’t understand why this jewel isn’t talked about more. At first sniff, it screams luxury and opulence, like a sultaness surrounded by jewels. It begins with a sweet peach, toffee, and a touch of soft grapefruit. After 30 minutes, the davana and rose with ambroxan enter, transforming into a sweet, sophisticated rose with immense personality. It lasts about 12 hours on skin and clothes until you wash them; it’s best-in-class. The bottle is pure elegance and the shiny box makes it stand out. I recommend using it inside the box to be surprised when you open it. Ideal from 30, though if you’re younger, it’s perfect for special occasions.
Delicious, dense, and super sweet with that decadent caramel note. The dry down becomes dry and woody thanks to the ambroxan; it’s exquisite. I want it!
I agree 100% with Valeska; the description is brilliant. I feel exactly the same way. I don’t understand the fuss that isn’t made about this jewel.
I agree 100% with the review by @VALESKA V; excellent description and impressive. I feel exactly the same way. And I don’t understand how this beauty isn’t talked about more.
