The only thing that saved it for me was the longevity. On my skin, the woody notes don’t work; the rose smells dusty and vintage, and there’s a smoky or coffee-bean touch that just doesn’t sit right. I couldn’t bear it. The presentation is beautiful, though, and the longevity is a solid 10/10.

The only good thing this perfume had on me was its longevity. On my skin, the woods come across in an unpleasant way; the rose isn’t fresh, it’s more of a vintage powdery perfumer’s rose. I detect a smell that’s almost smoky or like an acidic coffee bean; I don’t know how to put it into words, but it wasn’t pleasant on me. The truth is, I simply can’t tolerate this perfume. That said, its packaging is beautiful and the longevity is 10/10.

Finally, I have it! I love it. It feels soft, and I don’t detect the roses, just a makeup-like scent at first. The dry-down is the best part. I don’t think it has much sillage; I’ll test it on a cooler day. It’s brilliant for daytime and work, and it doesn’t bother anyone.

It smells identical to Zara Red Temptation, but more delicate, less spicy, smokier, and more animalic. It’s excellent, but it’s not worth the price.

I’ll start at the end because sometimes there’s no time for nonsense. Rose Alba lasts forever; on my skin it lingers through everything, and it doesn’t wash out even with hot water. The trail is noticeable. For a niche fragrance, the price is reasonable—it’s a buy. It smells of sandalwood, fruity rose, and vanilla. There’s nothing smoky; it’s pure wood! It starts sharp, then becomes creamy and velvety thanks to the sandalwood and fruits. I know many people are scared of woods, but here it’s feminine from start to finish. The rose isn’t fresh or vase-like; it’s powdery yet youthful. The vanilla is noticeable, but it’s not gourmand; it has spicy facets. I feel the bottle should be nude to hint at the contents inside. It has touches of makeup and a bit of ‘coquettishness’. If you like Delina Exclusif, you’ll love this. They’re relatives, though Rose Alba is more wintry and less luminous. It says it’s inspired by Cleopatra, but I don’t see the queen; I see a Charlotte Casiraghi. It demands a bit of dressing up. It’s a gem, but I don’t recommend it because I want it just for myself. @malasnotas on Instagram.

A delicious, sweet and woody rose with an almost smoky touch that adds warmth and depth. Ideal for autumn and winter, day or night, it feels elegant and sensual. Its trail is not intrusive; it’s present at a close distance, perfect for intimacy. It could be unisex, but it leans more feminine to me. I love it! I tested it skin-to-skin against L’Extase Rose Absolue by Nina Ricci and they are very similar in scent and performance; the latter is slightly more affordable. A great alternative.

A super original fragrance that has completely captivated me. The packaging is beautiful and high-quality, and the scent is perfect: a fresh rose wrapped in creaminess, with hints of fruit and a soft oriental touch. For me, it’s very feminine, but my son loved it too, so I think it suits everyone. The only difference is that on my skin, I detect a salty note, similar to Olympea, but it’s not listed, so I’m not sure if it’s just my skin chemistry. The longevity was impressive, nearly 12 hours, with moderate projection for about 2 or 3 hours. It’s a truly special fragrance.
