My biggest discovery of 2020 has undoubtedly been Atomic Rose by Initio. It came into my life through a decant from Yuniqu. The first time I tried it, it reminded me a lot of Intense Café by Montale and Rosas & Vanille by Mancera, all of the same style; I had all three at the time, plus Delina, Delina Exclusif, and Intense Rose Musk also by Montale. A feast of musky roses in my dressing table to feel very happy. The ones that stood out were undoubtedly Intense Café and Rose Atomic, with extreme power and majesty. The first week it cost me to see the clear differences, but a few days later, Atomic Rose stole my heart completely. It is the best rose and musk fragrance I have ever smelled; there are many good ones, but this is not just good, it is the best. Fresh red roses, spicy, sensually spiced, embraced by a powerful musk. It has an impressive projection and otherworldly longevity. It is extremely feminine and versatile; I can afford to smell like Rose Atomic every day because I deserve it, because it makes me feel unique, ultra-feminine, powerful, sexy, classy, full of life, energy, and youth. This fragrance changes my chip and helps me transform into my best version in seconds. I am a perfume lover and will use many others, but this became my signature scent.
Atomic Rose is exactly what I always wished Delina by Parfums de Marly would be. I had an 8ml decant that I gifted to my mother after her first use and she loved it. I also bought an 8ml decant of this perfume by Initio on the recommendation of Regina from Yuniqu, who told me it could be a better version of Delina, and she wasn’t wrong. It’s a sweet rose that results in being slightly fruity, despite not having notes from that family. It’s a cheerful, sparkling, and very potent scent. I think it’s very pretty, especially for spring, although I believe it can be worn in any season. It’s perfect for events, both formal and more casual, during the day. It has a moderate-to-high trail; you don’t go unnoticed wearing it, and on my skin it lasts 10-12 hours. It is certainly an atomic rose scent. Scent 8/10, Longevity 10/10, Trail 9/10, Value/Price 7/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy again? Yes.
Wow, what an exquisite aroma. In my opinion, it’s right in the middle of unisex: well-citrusy and spicy flowers that give it that perfect balance.
Perfect for me, it has the right amount of spice: the pepper is noticeable but light without dominating, which I appreciate because in other perfumes it tires me out and even bothers me for being so spicy. It’s a very pleasant blend of citrus, rose, and vanilla, sweet, fresh, and velvety all at once. It’s very similar to the Delinas I adore, although in the Delinas I’m bothered by a note in the opening (I think it’s the incense). Without a doubt, both Atomic Rose and the Delinas are my favourite roses right now.
Atomic Rose is a vanilla-spiced rose, sparkling at the start with a subtle red fruit point and a musky, creamy, sweet dry-down, all very well balanced. I agree with @Taurien: I feel it’s an improved version of Delina, made for me. They share the same DNA, probably if you have one you don’t need the other. In my opinion, it’s creamier and denser, but much less sharp, therefore more bearable and pleasant (even though it seems everyone and their mother loves Delina). The fundamental difference is the green/acidic part of Delina from the rhubarb and lychee, totally absent here. Longevity is very good. Projection is moderate-to-high but soft, not cloying or intrusive (I even wear it to the hospital). It settles on the skin and is noticeable for 8-10 hours; after 12 it’s more skin scent. I see it as feminine but with character, not excessively youthful or girly. Versatile in season and occasion. I think it’s a flagship perfume for everyday life, but also for special occasions. In summary: if you like the rhubarb and lychee of Delina, you’ll miss them here. But if you like roses and aren’t a fan of those notes, and like me aren’t huge fans of Delina, this is probably your one. Wish I could get my hands on a bottle soon.
Atomic Rose is a vanilla rose, sparkling at the start with a subtle red fruity touch and drying down to a musky, creamy, sweet finish, all very well balanced. I agree with @Taurien: it’s an improved version of Delina made for me. They share the same DNA, so if you already own one, you probably don’t need the other. In my opinion, it’s creamier and denser, yet far less sharp, making it more wearable and enjoyable (even though nowadays it seems everyone and their mother loves Delina). I believe the key difference is that green/acidic note from the rhubarb and lychee in Delina, which is completely absent here. The performance is excellent. The projection is moderate to high but feels soft, not overwhelming or intrusive (with just a few sprays, I even wear it to the hospital). It lasts noticeably on the skin for about 8–10 hours; after 12 hours, it becomes more of a skin scent. I see it as quite feminine but with character, neither too youthful nor overly demure. It’s versatile across seasons and occasions. I think it would accompany you wonderfully as a daily signature scent, but also for special or elegant events. In summary, if you love the rhubarb and lychee in Delina, you’ll certainly miss them. However, if you enjoy rose perfumes but aren’t huge fans of those specific notes, and like me, Delina doesn’t quite convince you, then this one probably will. I really hope I can get my hands on a bottle soon.
A bomb! A spectacle. A bouquet of pink roses so lovely and tender, bathed in a fine amber that isn’t intrusive; the vanilla and amber are perfectly balanced. I hate to say this, but this scent is 5% better than Delina Exclusif, which is one of my favourites. Why did I decide to buy it if it’s similar? Because it’s better crafted and on my skin it lasted two showers, that is, 24 hours. It projects for about 3 or 4 hours and yes, you can smell it from over a metre away. Blind buy? You must like youthful, potent roses.
Out of all the rose fragrances I own, this is absolute perfection for me. Modern, versatile, elegant, luxurious, long-lasting, and with beastly projection. Atomic Rose is, as its name suggests, a bomb of perfection. A fragrance that must be in the collection of anyone who loves the star of the show, the rose. This house manages to reinvent a note that many find boring into something spectacular and fantastic. With just a spritz, you feel super put-together for any occasion, despite its projection not being overwhelming. I absolutely love it 💕 and if I were told I could only keep one, this would be the chosen one. By far, my signature scent 😍🥰.
Out of all the rose fragrances 🌹 I own, this is absolute perfection. Modern, versatile, elegant, luxurious, long-lasting, and with an incredible projection. As its name suggests, Atomic Rose is a bomb of perfection: a fragrance that must be in the collection of anyone who loves roses as the star. This house manages to reinvent it, taking a note that many find boring and making it spectacular and fantastic; simply wearing it makes you feel super put-together for any situation, despite the fact that its projection doesn’t bother me at all. I love it absolutely 💕 and if I were told I could keep only one perfume, this would undoubtedly be the one chosen. By far my signature scent 😍🥰
Out of all the rose perfumes I’ve tried, this has by far been the most captivating and addictive. I picked it up at Saks Fifth Avenue alongside others from different houses. It’s incredible that it flew under my olfactory radar, seeing as it’s raking in all the praise. Atomic Rose is a potent rose fragrance that opens with very bright citrus and pepper notes; I feel the roses are more aquatic at the start. There is so much evolution: the delicious aquatic rose transforms into a rose sweetened by amber and vanilla. As it dries down, the rose and amber become an inseparable duo, which is when I like it most, with a touch of jasmine polarised by the two rose bushes. I think it’s better than Oud For Greatness, having more evolution and personality. It suits any season and time of day. It’s a delight and a great representative of the rose. Completely unisex, though for women who love rose, men need not fear using it; it adds great personality and presence. Long-lasting on skin; I could still smell it on my blouse and neck the next day. High price but worth it. Incredible surprise: a rose profile already visited by niche that gives it a pleasantly unexpected twist.
The first spray gave me déjà vu of another Delina, but once it dried down, it smelled like Very Good Girl by Ch with that dated rose and less fruit. I don’t see the gothic or dark rose everyone talks about; to me, it’s a delicate perfume for a pretty girl. I can’t comment on longevity as it has only just arrived, but I prefer the scent of the other two I’m comparing it to.
I love it, I’ve just received it. One question: doesn’t the heart carry incense? Or is it pink pepper with the roses? It’s an excellent feminine fragrance, an adult laugh without eccentricities; I’d wear it every day.
I tried it in an exclusive perfumery… at first the opening didn’t suit me… but after 20 minutes it reminded me of Delina Exclusif… when I got home I put the blotter on the wooden table and three days later it was still impregnated and potent… I loved it.
I don’t understand why it has such a high rating if it doesn’t last and only feels for a while close to the skin. Too much price for such poor performance. Aro.a is good, but the performance is bad.
I’m addicted to roses and with over 200 perfumes in my collection, Atomic Rose has the most incredible flower note I’ve ever smelled. Love at first sight ❤️
I’m a rose fan and I have over 200 perfumes. Atomic Rose has the best rose I’ve ever smelled. Love at first sniff ❤️.
Very good perfume; it reminded me of Moschino Toy Boy.
Very good perfume, it reminded me of Moschino’s Toy Boy.
Atomic Rose starts with rose and pepper at full throttle, lasting a while until vanilla and amber wrap it in sweetness. After hours, it fades and leaves a whisper of rose powder. The trail, sillage, and longevity are incredible. I see it on an empowered middle-aged woman. It smells familiar today alongside Roses Vainille and the Delinas (the pepper is noticeable). On a man, it would work well until it dries down. It’s a red rose smeared with sugar and spices, for not going unnoticed. Personally, I’m not hooked due to the lack of intrigue and because it’s very explosive.
The dark version of rose gourmand, addictive. They’ve managed the original inspiration well with good performance. To me, it smells of lychee and patchouli. It’s a sweet but subtle rose, not cloying. A bit aggressive, but not annoying like other fragrances I hate. Zara and Initio are on their game; nothing synthetic, and that’s a relief.
It lives up to its name: an atomic rose, on steroids, a proper LADY rose. Absolutely potent. At first it reminds me of Delina OG, but as it dries, it smells like a red petal 24-48 hours off the branch. Very feminine and mature. The power and trail are brutal. I like it, but it makes me feel too much of a lady.
The best in modern roses. Fresh, playful, energetic, and mysterious. The pepper sparkles and the rose is a freshly cut pink flower. The presentation and the purple colour are handsome. Versatile and addictive; you don’t want to take your nose away. Unisex with a feminine leaning; I’d love to wear it myself or on a man. It lasts quite a while, although the trail isn’t bomb-like. It’s a jewel.
A rose for those who hate roses. It’s soapy, clean, and acidic, brightened by lemon, closing down into vanilla. A little feminine, but I wear it without any complex. Totally versatile, and Initio have hit the mark again. Not my favourite from the brand, but a masterpiece with good taste.
