Paragon smells very aromatic, woody, creamy and spicy. The opening note stands out above everything else and is present from start to finish; I’m not familiar with it and haven’t smelled anything similar, so I suspect it’s palo santo. I’ve loved it immensely and I believe that’s where the magic lies: it’s a versatile scent that everyone will enjoy, yet has a distinctive touch that makes it unique. It’s hard to describe, but it’s aromatic and quite creamy; the first time I wore it, it reminded me of Rehab from the same line. There are clear similarities underneath, but the final result is different. It’s very wearable for day and night, in cold and warm weather (though I haven’t tested it in extreme heat, I suspect it will work in summer, even if it’s not the freshest season; I’m not sure it would hold up at 35 degrees in the sun, but it’s a great option for evenings). It suits every occasion, formal and informal, with classic tints updated for modern perfumery, so I think it’s very wearable for a wide range of people. It’s one of those perfumes, like Rehab and Musk Therapy, that makes you feel good and chilled. Longevity and projection are typical of the house, quite high; without being beast mode, the performance is excellent.
Paragon smells very aromatic, woody, creamy, and spiced. It has an opening note that stands out above all else and is present from start to finish; I’m not familiar with it and haven’t heard anything similar in another fragrance; I suspect it’s palo santo. I’ve loved it immensely and believe that’s where the magic lies: it’s a versatile scent that everyone will enjoy, yet it has a distinctive touch that makes it unique. It’s difficult to describe, but it’s aromatic and quite creamy; the first time I smelled it, it gave me the vibe of its sibling, Rehab, from the same line, with clear similarities in the dry down, but the final result is a distinct fragrance. It’s suitable for day and night, in cold and heat (though I haven’t tested it in extreme heat, I suspect it will work in summer due to its freshness, perhaps not at 35 degrees in direct sunlight; at night, I see it as a good option). It suits every occasion, formal and informal, with classic tints updated for modern perfumery, suitable for a wide range of people. Like Rehab and Musk Therapy, it makes you feel good and ‘chill’. Longevity and projection are high in-house; it’s not a beast mode, but the performance is very good.
I tried it as a sample and liked it; it’s unisex but leans more towards masculine. On me, the sage really stands out, so I perceive it as green yet sweet, perhaps due to the plum. Then the woods emerge, with a hint of incense. When I sprayed it, it reminded me of Amouage’s Sunshine – not the same, but that was the mental image. I think it can be worn all year round and lasts about seven hours.
Absolutely stunning fragrance; I received a sample and fell in love with it. It transports you to a happy, cosy, warm state, like being under the duvet on a cold day. It’s a sweet scent with an incense orientation, with notes of sage and plum. There’s a lingering, captivating note I can’t quite put into words. I feel it suits any occasion; it’s not overpowering or annoying, yet you can smell it from nearly two metres away. Delicious aroma; I look forward to trying the other two in the collection soon. The prices are high, but they offer 10ml and 7.5ml bottles at a good value. Best to test in stores or during campaigns before ordering by post.
A good proposition from Initio. The perfume opens with a fairly fruity and sweet tone, the plum being quite marked, giving it a slightly feminine touch in the first few minutes. Gradually, the lavender and palo santo emerge, my favourite part, giving an exquisite, very versatile creamy floral sensation. It’s a perfume that shifts from a feminine touch to a masculine one, totally unisex, with a dry down somewhat similar to its sibling Atomic Rose; they must share an ingredient, at least to my nose. Good longevity and projection.
A smart move with Initio. It opens super fruity and sweet, with a very pronounced plum note giving it a feminine vibe at first. Then comes the lavender and palo santo – my favourites – creating a creamy, super versatile floral sensation. It evolves from a feminine touch to a masculine one, ending up totally unisex, with a base that reminds me of its sister, Atomic Rose; they must share an ingredient. Performance and projection are ten out of ten.
Spectacular fruity fragrance from Initio. It opens very fruity with the plum and then gives way to the palo santo, something creamy. It’s a perfume made to please everyone; as a fruity fragrance, it’s one of the best I’ve heard. A little sweet but balanced, it’s not cloying at all; you’ll want to smell it all the time. 10/10.
Spectacular and fruity fragrance from Initio. Opens very fruity with the plum and moves into palo santo, leaving a creamy trail. It’s made to please everyone; it’s among the best fruity scents I’ve ever smelled. A little sweet but balanced, not cloying; you’ll want to keep smelling it all day. 10/10
Paragon. A mystical perfume. I sense the palo santo; it smells of wood and incense. A plummy sweetness gives it a magical potion vibe alongside the lavender; perhaps on my skin it’s a bit masculine, but it’s totally unisex. Creamy and versatile, ideal for afternoons. It hasn’t enchanted me enough to buy a bottle, but it’s a good perfume. Scent: 🫐🫐🫐 Longevity: 🫐🫐🫐🫐
What I smell most is the plum; everything revolves around it. Then it becomes fruity, opening with lavender and drying down with oud and spices. It smells good, is wearable and easy, but it doesn’t make me crazy to buy. It pivots between masculine and feminine and is versatile. Performance is excellent, lasting a long time with just enough projection, but I wouldn’t pay for a bottle as it doesn’t enchant me. The dry-down is more interesting. It’s an aroma made to please, less suitable for very hot days, but wearable all year round.
A beautiful fragrance full of light and shadow. Opens citrusy with lots of lavender and a herbal touch that isn’t artificial. The heart is fruity from plum and woody with palo santo, plus a dark note like oud without being dirty, just dense. All tied together with spices like cinnamon and pepper, finishing super creamy. I’ve never tried anything like it. I thought it might resemble Rehab, but it doesn’t; however, if you like that, you’ll love this. It sits halfway between masculine and feminine. It’s sexy and doesn’t go unnoticed. Lasts over ten hours. Curiously, it doesn’t smell strong when applied, yet it’s noticeable from a distance. I’ve received compliments from afar. A wonderful surprise for my collection.
Lovely perfume; the notes dance beautifully. It has character and is a delight—a sweet elegance, soft yet authoritative. One of Initio’s finest. I’d wear it more often; it suits both cold and hot weather, very adaptable. Simply exquisite!
Beautiful perfume. The notes play off each other beautifully. It’s a characterful fragrance, a delight that deserves much applause; a sweet so elegant, soft yet imposing, it’s one of the best from Initio. I would wear it more during the day and it can be used in both cold and heat, being adaptable to any occasion. It’s exquisite.
I tried it straight from the oven at the Paris boutique. While I liked it, it didn’t win me over immediately; in the capital, everyone finishes the day with their nose at full capacity, wearing four or five perfumes, which is fatal for the olfactory system, even with just two or three. I was gifted a sample, but I had neither the time nor the opportunity to try it until two years ago, and when I did, it was instant love. To my nose, it’s an incredibly soft cushion, a cloud of cotton infused with white woods and slightly fruity notes. It’s creamy, comforting, and sometimes reminds me of the taste of unsweetened apricot jam; everything is so fluffy, woody, soft, and delicious. I simply need it.
I tried it straight out of the oven at the Paris boutique and, although I liked it, it didn’t make me fall in love because in Paris everyone finishes the day with four or five perfumes on them; there’s nothing worse for the olfactory senses, not even two or three. I was gifted a sample, but I didn’t have the time or space until two years ago, and when I tried it again, it was instant love. For my nose, it’s a super-soft mattress, a cloud of cotton infused with white woods and slightly fruity notes. It’s creamy, it wraps around you, and sometimes reminds me of the taste of unsweetened apricot jam, all very fluffy, woody, soft, and delicious. I need it.
I don’t know! 😍 It’s one of those fragrances where you don’t know what to say, more than just ‘EXQUISITE’. You have to try it, what a marvel. It’s a mix of everything, but I sense a dry, spectacular, and rich sandalwood that blends with the plum and makes it addictive to the point of exhaustion.
I saw others say it sounded citrusy and fresh, but upon trying it, nothing could be further from the truth. It starts with lavender, sage, and sweet plum; as it dries down, the woods dominate. It smells rich and has the typical Initio quality, but I see it more for autumn or night, not for the heat as I imagined. It is unique, although for the price, I think there are better options.
The opening of Paragon is a herbal aromatic breath charged with well-being: lavender, bergamot, and that fruity sweetness of plum create a luxury spa sensation that invites you to close your eyes and take a deep breath. The first thought is usually: ‘What a delicious fragrance… but will it be for me?’. That judgment dissipates within minutes. As it develops, Paragon becomes a sophisticated aura: creamy white woods, a polished sandalwood, and a discreet dark wood embrace the skin, granting silent luxury, inner calm, and absolute cleanliness. It smells impeccable: refined and elegant presence without fuss. It evokes a man who doesn’t need to draw attention to himself; attention comes naturally through his correct behaviour, his sartorial judgement, and his charisma when speaking. Paragon is his aura. The fragrance of the best version of oneself that inspires others to become that ideal. As the hours pass, it lingers with a creamy, ethereal sandalwood, wafts of lavender, and a sweet trail of plum. Up close, a gentle oud reveals subtlety and character. By the end of this sensory journey, those closed eyelids that discovered the beautiful aroma of Paragon suddenly emit a smile and correct the idea: ‘I should wear this forever’. Ratings: Feels niche from the first spray: clear, creamy, and excellent quality notes. Scent: 9/10. Originality: 9/10 (Authentic men’s scent). Projection: Moderate to High. Longevity: Approx. 8 hours. Time of use: Autumn, Winter, Spring. Day and Night. Would not use in extreme heat. Occasions: Very versatile, formal, informal, dates, events, work. You can leave a very memorable scent if you are a man.
It’s not hate; the perfume is top-tier, but in my environment, it feels heavy when it’s hot, so I only wear it on cold days. I understand that in Europe people are more accustomed to wearing perfume, but here in Mexico, subtle fragrances work better for the heat and semi-sweet ones for the cold; otherwise, the risk is ending up in a drawer. As a cold-weather option for the office, it’s perfect. It gives the impression that you’ve washed every day, used expensive gel, luxury cream, and high-end deodorant; whoever smells it might think it’s a well-blended mix of several things rather than a single fragrance.
