Finally tried this wonder and the first impressions are: it smells like tiramisu. I repeat, it smells like tiramisu. How did they manage it? After half an hour it seemed to fade, but in the end, on the train, I still smell like tiramisu. I am a tiramisu with eyes. I regret not having bought it sooner; I already have the Christmas gift ready. A month later with the sample and it still smells like tiramisu. Today, 6th August, I bought it and couldn’t wait for Christmas (and if it sells out, gets discontinued, or there’s a cataclysm).

Not much to say, it smells like super-realistic tiramisu. 100% edible aroma, it makes you want to take a bite, absolutely delicious. What treasures Theodoros Kalotinis brings out; he is undoubtedly the king of gourmand scents 😍.

Having already owned the base of Coffee Addict, it wasn’t difficult for Kalotinis to add what was necessary to create a tiramisu that follows the same path without being redundant. As one might expect, it’s a gourmand creation; for those who liked Uomo by Ferragamo, this will seem like a niche version with steroids. In temperate or hot climates, it can feel heavy due to the sweetness, but in cooler weather I think it will deliver and find its best moment. I don’t see it for elegant occasions, yes for casual ones, more autumnal or winter, inviting a cosy closeness to shelter from the cold. Its longevity is very good even in airy places (at least on my skin), and its projection and trail are similar to the other extracts in the line. If you like the scent of coffee with vanilla and cocoa or you delight in Coffe Addict, and you have no problem walking around smelling like a little cake, I think you’ll buy it almost blindly. Suggestion: test it on skin, because the differences, though subtle regarding dry-down, can be decisive, especially in the final phase where I noticed a buttery note that reminded me of cinnamon rolls for a while, until it disappeared and returned to the initial tiramisu, ending more linearly.

  • To start, it’s a steal for 50ml… yes, it genuinely smells like tiramisu. However, Coffe Adict wins on trail by a mile; this is lighter, mixed with cocoa and other cake ingredients. I’d have loved it to be as intense as the other, but it smells lovely, and you can definitely detect the mascarpone. A hyper-realistic aroma. Is it worth it? Depends on what you’re looking for. I fell in love with Coffe Adict thanks to my husband, but as I didn’t want to repeat and have my own bottle, I bought it for myself. I find the trail a bit low, as I said; it’s stronger on the coffee one. I’ll keep testing it over these autumn days to see how the performance holds up.

  • It starts off being pricey for 50ml, but yes, it smells like tiramisu. Coffe Adict wins on coffee trail; here it is lighter with the cocoa and the mascarpone is noticeable. I would have liked it to be as intense as the other, but it smells good. Is it worth it? Depends on what you’re looking for. I fell in love with Coffe Adict thanks to my husband, but I wanted my own bottle. The trail is a bit low; I’ll keep testing it in autumn to see the performance.
