The first spray is pure caramelised brown sugar at full throttle, with the coffee/toasted notes barely in the background, becoming more apparent as it dries. The dry-down is slow, so initially the sweet notes hit hard but then fade in intensity, though they remain ever-present. If you don’t like things sweet, run away from this bomb for diabetics. It’s a beast for the first hour, then mellows but remains perceptible within a metre for two hours, creating a personal bubble. It’s the most potent and long-lasting in my collection, but due to the sweetness, I only wear it in winter if you don’t want to suffocate everyone. Top-quality materials, nothing synthetic. Congratulations to Jefferson Soto and Alejandro Gomez B. PS: I have the 2024 batch bottle; I hope future releases improve longevity and boost the coffee/toasted notes to make it perfect for me.

It’s pure, hard-core niche, a total Gourmant that smells like maple honey waffles, like a real breakfast. It’s beastly, lasts all day, and projects massively; with a single spray on the floor downstairs, I could smell myself from the bottom of the house. It’s a matter of divided tastes: my sister and mum don’t like it because it smells like food, but my partner says I smell delicious. Is it worth it? If you’ve never tried a Gourmant, yes. I only see it for cold nights or winter.
