So addictive that my parents wouldn’t let me buy it, but there it was… staring back at me on the red shelf in that high street perfumery. The shop assistant pitied my misery and gifted me a sample that I carried everywhere; I felt so powerful! Lactonic + talcum + woody, the perfect combo for a sentimental geek. I loved it and know I’ll still remember it when I’m old. 🕯️ 10/10.🔥
It was my school days fragrance, a true love. Very floral with woody and musky notes, all wrapped up in a lovely carnation, like Boudoir but fresher and more youthful. It lasted hours on my skin; my classmates would say everything: ‘You smell wonderful today!’, ‘Have you put on your mother’s cologne?’, ‘You look different today but I don’t know what it is.’ It’s still sold in some perfumeries. In fact, for a while I kept the empty bottle just to open it and keep smelling it. In short, I loved it… with its fuchsia pink atomiser and glass cap. 💜~
I had it because someone gifted it to me. I remember it as pleasant, floral with a sweet touch. To be honest, these days I’m not sure I could stand it, although back then it smelled very good.
