I’ve been searching for the perfume of my dreams with coconut and vanilla for years. I really believed this would be the end of my search, and I was wrong. Don’t misunderstand me—the perfume is lovely, with that undeniable quality that always accompanies Daniel Josier’s compositions, but it’s not what I wanted for myself. This fragrance is perfect for summer; it screams beach and sun in a paradise-like place. It opens with a perceptible salty touch, like the one given off by sun-kissed skin bathed in sea water, with a fragrant blend of white flowers and a coconut that, for me, is somewhere between coconut water and cream, with a very noticeable base of sandalwood and vanilla—not precisely a sweet vanilla, but a dense and sumptuous vanilla. A straightforward fragrance but with its touch of well-being, lasting about six hours on my skin, and a very refined sillage that creates a bubble around you.
