Notes of red berries and orange sparkle at the top, while coriander, saffron and clove warm the heart. Beneath it all, Haitian vetiver, white musk, patchouli, labdanum and leather create a long-lasting, sensual base.
Via della Seta lands in 2026 as Fragmenta’s latest addition to the leather perfume family. This unisex scent offers a modern take on warm materials, weaving together freshness and depth in a way that feels both classic and current.
The top notes are red berries, frankincense, cypress and orange. The effect is radiant and slightly resinous, with cypress bringing a cool green lift and orange giving a zesty, juicy contrast.
At the heart, coriander, saffron, nagarmotha and clove create a spicy, aromatic accord. Saffron adds a distinctive metallic warmth, while clove contributes a dry, faintly sweet piquancy.
The base is built on Haitian vetiver, white musk, patchouli, labdanum, leather and fir. This dry-down is woody, ambered and earthy, with a supple leather note wrapped in musk for a smooth, suede-like finish.
Given its woody, spicy, musky and balsamic accords, Via della Seta is well suited to colder days and evenings. So far it has a single rating of 3 out of 5, so the jury is still out, but the composition has genuine appeal.
