An absolute beast; the best of the three Victorioso, buy blind with confidence.
An absolute beast, the best of the three Victorioso, buy blind and you won’t go wrong.
Identical to 9am Dive. Smells fruity, like ripe mango.
Delicious for such a low price.
A very well-executed dupe. Citrus and fresh opening, long-lasting. As it dries, the laurel and geranium notes give a sweet, juicy scent. What surprises me most is the base: that light wood and amber last around seven hours on my skin. It’s an all-rounder for almost any occasion, except in the cold. 100% recommended and a good blind buy given how cheap it is.
A very well-executed dupe. Citrus and fresh opening, with long-lasting longevity. As it dries down, the laurel and geranium notes give a sweet, juicy scent. Victorioso Myth, the current name. I haven’t tried Invictus, but this smells fresh, marine and rich. For the price, it’s ridiculous; perfect for everyday wear, but be careful with the sprays: it’s potent, I put on 10 and nearly suffocated. Hours later, when I woke up, a whiff reminded me of Y EDP, but very faint. It’s a 4×4 for always and everywhere (I was surprised it still holds up at night). It feels a bit synthetic, but I think all Invictus have that touch… Recommended.
Labeled as Victorioso Myth, single spray test: I don’t know the notes, but the opening on my skin is strong and heavy, almost powdery, which bothers me in these fresh/marine scents. The difference is that after half an hour, it shifts to a soft laurel and other pleasant aromas. By an hour, there’s no sillage, just a skin scent lasting until 6 hours. UPDATE: 2nd test with 5 sprays (2 on the neck, 1 at the nape). Very different from the first. Strong but pleasant aroma, good longevity: waves of scent every so often until 6-7 hours, then a skin scent until 12 hours. Moderate sillage. Recommended for summer (today is dry and warm at 32°C). Price in my country: $23.
Now it’s Victorioso Myth. Try with one spritz on the arm: I can’t identify the notes, but the opening smells strong and heavy, almost powdery, which bothers me for fresh/marine scents. After half an hour, it shifts to a soft laurel and other pleasant aromas. By an hour, there’s no sillage, just skin scent until 6pm. UPDATE: 2nd test with five spritzes (two on each neck and one at the nape). Very different from the first time. Strong but pleasant aroma. Excellent longevity: waves reach the nose for 6-7 hours, then skin scent until 12pm. Moderate sillage. Recommended for summer (today warm and dry at 32°C). Price here is $23.
Strong at first, I’m not fully convinced yet; I detect a very synthetic, undifferentiated scent. But an hour later, it changes and smells much more pleasant. I need to keep testing it.
I’ve had it for over a year and use it whenever I fancy. It’s not my favourite, but it’s earned me many compliments. The opening is strong (which some may not like), but after 30 minutes of drying, it’s exceptional; in that phase, everyone loves it. For the price, it’s totally worth it.
I was surprised: from the opening, it’s very vibrant and not synthetic at all. It gives me Polo Sport vibes. A truly manly fragrance.
I don’t know the Legend, but I own the Azzaro Wanted EDT and this resembles it closely. It has a somewhat acidic, synthetic opening, but dries down beautifully: like the Azzaro but less aromatic, with a fruity punch and that salty hint. I like it because it projects well without being as invasive as the Wanted.
It’s a genuine clone of Maison Alhambra, identical to the discontinued Invictus Legend. It’s worth it for that reason alone. The downside is the performance: it does the bare minimum, lasting about 5-6 hours with one hour of projection. It performs better on clothes. Ideal for mild seasons, fresh with a balanced sweet touch, perfect for informal, youthful daily wear.
I’ve finally finished it, but a word of caution: it needs time to mature. The empty bottle leaves a scent trail all over the room when opened. I agree that the longevity is low at first, but the smell is incredible. I didn’t know the Legend existed, but if it smells like this, it’s very good.
For $12, it’s incredible. Feels like a blue fragrance, but with that marine note that makes it radiate, perfect for a beach day. Decent performance.
For $12, it’s incredible. Smells like a blue fragrance with that marine note making it ideal for a beach day. Decent performance.
Although it’s marketed for men, I feel it’s unisex with a feminine air. For the price, the quality is top-notch, especially those salty, marine, and amber notes. It’s a sweet marine perfume, slightly fruity, which is why it lacks masculinity; I’ve even caught the bank teller wearing it. Rating: 6.2/10.
Fresh, salty, with that rounded medicinal note lingering at the base. I haven’t tried the Legend, but compared to the Parfum, they’re almost identical; worn together, they blend in, though this one lets that medicinal nuance stand out more. Still, it’s a rich gem: casual, youthful, and informal, hard to imagine anyone disliking it. Doesn’t raise eyebrows, but there’s nothing to complain about. Scent 9/10, Price 10/10, Projection 7/10, Longevity 8/10.
