With six top notes, eight heart notes and seven base notes, the composition is deliberately complex. Rather than revealing itself in a straight line, Wood Green evolves in stages, allowing the wearer to discover something new at each step.
The opening is vivid and green. Juniper and bergamot supply the initial freshness, while basil and southernwood lend a herbal, almost bitter edge. Caraway and coriander add a quiet spiciness that keeps the start lively without becoming too sharp.
