Another winner from Zara. Bergamot and lavender dominate, with cedar at the base; it’s not the best, but it’s not bad either. It says Sport, but it doesn’t smell like a gym; rather, it’s for going out with friends or your girl on summer days and hot nights. It would be perfect for the beach for something informal. The longevity surprised me: 8 hours on skin and projecting for two and a half hours. Average sillage, but for the price (around $18), it’s an absolute recommendation. A bit sweet like most Zara fragrances, but better than many more expensive ones. Addendum: testing it more thoroughly, I noticed it has amber or resin notes, so it also works well in intermediate seasons. A cheap and safe option if you don’t want to take risks, especially on a tight budget.
For fans of PR Invictus and Zara Seoul, this is spectacular for day or night in the heat. A better option than the regular Night II, which lasted nothing in 2020. I started with the 10ml mini and loved it so much I bought the 100ml for a refill. Sweet, pleasant, with very good aquatic nuances. Sillage 2 to 3 hours, on skin 8 hours. Nothing like the regular version which doesn’t last at all. Highly recommended to buy blind.
Used it for a year and I can confirm: it smells like Invictus. If you like that one, buy it without hesitation. It lasts quite a while, about 7 hours, and projects decently for two or three hours.
Another flanker of Zara’s Night Pour Homme II. I’ve been comparing this scent with Invictus; I already owned the original and the Summer (which doesn’t actually smell like summer) and tried this Sport version, but it’s more of the same. I haven’t tested all three together, but it lasts, smells good, and I don’t want any more Invictus scents in my collection. Scent: 7, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 8, Price: 10. Total: 8.25.
As the description states, it’s just those three notes. Perfect for daily wear, with lavender taking the lead and a hint of cedar at the base. Simply lovely for spring and summer! It performs well: 3 hours of trail, 6 hours on skin. Buy blind if you’re not looking for something unusual; it smells clean and good. Note: it has nothing to do with ‘sport’; it’s for a casual Sunday, a barbecue, or a walk with your other half.
I picked up the 150ml bottle and what a freshness! It’s clean and sweet, but be warned: it fades very quickly; there’s no longevity here.
