Perfumes de Daniel Barros

Graduated in International Relations, with a professional career across Europe, Asia and North America, Daniel Barros chose to redirect his career towards the world of fragrances—a passion cultivated since childhood—and in 2013 he founded the olfactory consultancy Ego In Vitro.

From 2015 onwards, he began his career as a fragrance creator and as a collaborator with L’Officiel magazine and the Fragrantica website. In 2021, he consolidated his reviews and publications in the 1001 Perfumes guide, available in both Portuguese and English.

Member of the organising committee of ScentXplore, an international event for niche perfumery held annually in New York, Daniel has been part of the SCENTEC Fragrances team since 2025, where he works as an olfactory designer and Global Accounts Manager.
