Perfumes de James Krivda

James Krivda is Senior Perfumer and Vice President at Mane, a global fragrances and flavours company. Born and raised near Philadelphia, he began his career in fragrance almost 27 years ago, studying perfumery under the direction of the French master perfumer Elie Roger at Firmenich. After completing his training, he started working at Fragrance Resources before joining Mane in 2008.

Throughout his career, Jim Krivda has worked across a wide range of products, from air care to personal care and fine fragrance. In Mane’s New York Creative Studio, he now focuses mainly on fine fragrance. He is known for his ability to create innovative, high-quality fragrances that resonate with consumers.

Krivda’s extensive client list includes some of the world’s most recognisable brands. He has created fragrances for Alfred Sung, Bijan, Britney Spears, Brooks Brothers, Celine Dion, Cindy Adams, Elizabeth Arden, Frederick’s of Hollywood, Jennifer Lopez, Laura Mercier, Paris Hilton, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger.

Among the fragrances that Krivda has composed, some of the most popular include Britney Spears Fantasy, Paris Hilton Paris Hilton, Elizabeth Arden Splendor and Jennifer Lopez Deseo. His work has earned numerous awards and accolades across the industry.

In addition to his work as a perfumer, Krivda has been an active member of the American Society of Perfumers (ASP) for many years. He served as president of the organisation in 2001 and has continued to participate in its activities and events.
