Shahar Schwartz
As a young man, Shahar Schwartz spent a lot of time in nature. He climbed the mountains surrounded by soft grass and flowers in bloom while contemplating the vineyards. Even to this day, these environments make him feel like a child. Moments like those shaped his future.
As he grew older, Shahar found himself working as a satellite engineer thanks to his strict education. At the age of 40, he decided to leave his well-paid but boring job to pursue his dreams. Soon after, he found himself running a factory that produced fragrance extracts and essential oils. The owner became a good friend, mentor and lifelong teacher for Shahar.
This experience opened up a whole new world that Shahar fell in love with. He continued studying the subject in France and the United States. However, Shahar feels he learned more through trial and error.
While working in the industry, Shahar participated in the creation of custom fragrances for hotels and companies as part of his brand identity. This made Shahar interested in finding a correlation between fragrance and human identity. He began researching how a personal, own scent can be created.
In 2015, Shahar opened a small laboratory called “Perfuniq”. This laboratory was developed so that clients could sit down with a perfumer and create their own perfume based on Shahar’s findings. His name became known all over the world and people came to experience and create their own quality perfume. Today, more than 10,000 personal perfumes have been created.
Over the years, Shahar has continued researching and developing fragrances. When asking customers which place seemed the most romantic and sexy to go on holiday, he came up with the idea of creating the brand NasoProfumo. This niche brand would capture the sensations of being on holiday in Tuscany.
In 2023, Shahar opened his own laboratory named Miva Labs ltd in the heart of the southern desert of Israel. Here, he could research and develop raw materials, carry out quality controls and test the effects of a fragrance. In addition, the laboratory is used to produce high-quality perfumes such as those of NasoProfumo.
