Although called Jasmin, it doesn’t smell like typical white floral; instead, it’s a dark, very animalic jasmine (without being indolic), with a prominent ylang opening. As it dries, the floral fades and is replaced by a luminous, slightly spiced leather, always retaining that jasmine and ylang bouquet. Upon application, I thought of Emper’s Ilang 62, and over time it draws closer to Boss No 1, Ted Lapidus, or Paloma Picasso, like a blend of patchouli, honey, and animalic notes. It lasts about six hours, with a heavy trail for the first hour.
