Distinctive, handsome, supremely curious and intriguing. Lava Rose smells of dried roses, with that almost decorative pompié or flower tucked between book pages vibe. They’re slightly metallic roses, reminiscent of Rochas Tocade. Surrounded by earth (with that soil aroma I recall from Burgas’ Ant Hill), smoke, and a potent warm sensation. Indeed, it evokes lava flowing over a field of roses. The underlying plastic note is also perceptible, yet strangely pleasant. Over time, the burning sensation mellows and the scent becomes sweeter. It has moderate projection and lasts around 9 hours on my skin. Totally unisex and undeniably interesting. It’s certainly not for everyone, but for me, it’s worth it. Scent 7/10, Longevity 9/10, Projection 7/10, Value for money 6/10, Versatility 5.5/10, Packaging 5.5/10. Would I buy it again? I haven’t purchased it yet.
