Arrived with high hopes and got a good deal, but honestly, it didn’t convince me. I’m not sure if the batch is faulty, but the projection is non-existent. The moment I apply it, it smells of tobacco and burnt caramel that lingers stubbornly without any nuance. What a pity; I feel absolutely no freshness. I hope it’s a defective product or that I can make it work somehow.
I want to give it a chance, hoping it’s an improved version of Ariana’s ‘God is a Woman’.
Ideal for everyday wear, super discreet. Smells like clean skin and freshly showered, with a sweet and salty touch. It’s the ultimate ‘no makeup’ perfume. If you work with lots of people and want something innocent and clean, this is the one for you. Literally smells of ambroxan and ambergris. If you love those notes, you’ll surely like it.
I tried it in the discovery kit and it was the second one I liked most (after Skin). The pear opening is very realistic and sweet, so much so that I detect a honeyed nuance. It seems more feminine due to that sweetness. The trail is moderate and low. On my skin, it lasts about six hours and doesn’t turn bitter or earthy. I like it, but not enough to buy the full bottle. It’s versatile, a sweet fruity scent. If you like pear, give it a try, though I wouldn’t buy it blindly.
The opening is spectacular: the pear is fresh, sweet, and sparkling, super delicious, making you want to eat it. But the opening fades very quickly, yielding to tobacco flower and carrot seed, which I find slightly bitter, leaving a sweet and earthy scent. I haven’t much more to say: it’s fresh, sweet, doesn’t last long, and lacks a great trail. It’s one of those that stays with you, and only close people will ask about the smell. While it’s rich, it’s not something to have everyone notice you walking into a room; sometimes that’s not good. I see it as unisex, suitable for any time or season, perhaps changing in winter. For the price, I recommend trying a sample or decant first, as I don’t feel it’s the great wonder for $100. With that money, I could easily buy something niche with better longevity and scent, although surely there will be those who pay for it.
