  • What a wonderful perfume. Lily and currants. One of the best I own or have smelled in a very long time. Serious scent and a compliment magnet.

  • The first time I tried it, I loved it so much that I bought a bottle without hesitation. But when using it, I feel its potency isn’t the same as when testing it. I don’t know if they reformulated it or the tester was more potent. It’s a blue fragrance, sweeter, like Bleu de Chanel or Dylan Blue, and in the dry down this facet becomes more apparent. I’m disappointed with the performance; I’m going to let it macerate for a few months to see if it improves. The predominant notes are currant and incense without a doubt. If I had to choose, I’d go for the 7 Anonymous, in my opinion with superior performance, although it’s not as blue. Scent: 7/10, Longevity: 4/10, Projection: 1/10, Sillage: 3/10, Value for money: 3/10, Blind buy: 5/10, Versatility: 7/10, Season: temperate and warm climates.

  • Kraneal: Yes, you need to let it macerate for a couple of months to let the oxygenation enhance it. Be careful where you apply it; with such a high pepper load, if you put it on your chest or neck, it causes olfactory fatigue. I don’t know if the last batch has been reformulated, I have one from two years ago, but 7 Cobalt works like this: it requires light oxidation (2 to 3 months) and should be applied to arms, abdomen, shoulders and lower back; not near the nose, as the palm effect makes you stop smelling it, although others will still detect it. Its bursts are very potent. Check it out.

  • A fragrance spectacle, one of the most versatile that exist. Neither too mature nor too youthful, pleasant, very good performance. You can’t ask for more, it’s among the best from Loewe. Perfect for a gift, won’t offend anyone. If you like subtle incense perfectly integrated, it’s a delight for the nose… HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

  • El Doctorazo

An uncommon combination, feels like a blue fragrance but with that touch of incense. It’s not for everyone; I tried it and it fascinated me. I bought a large bottle and actually don’t use it much; I don’t regret it but I still haven’t found its best moment to wear.

  • I want to add that, being a great blue fragrance and different from the typical ones, I think they’ve reformulated it. I have a current batch and an original one: in the original the incense was clearly more potent, whereas in the current one it feels more soapy and doesn’t last as long. Still a great perfume.

I’m 19 and I absolutely adore it. It projects maturity and works for both formal and casual occasions. Although it’s a ‘blue’ fragrance, I only wear it when it’s not too hot; otherwise, the fruity notes like currant and incense can become overpowering. Anyway, it’s a gem. Lasts 6-8 hours on skin and clothes, and even smells after washing, haha.

  • Of course, it’s blind so I start that way (in my opinion and taste), because I’m too lazy to buy decants and I’m desperate. I recommend it blindly: the opening is exquisite, easy to like, fresh, slightly sweet and green. Then comes a creamy facet that I don’t entirely love, but it doesn’t last long. The star is the incense, totally pleasant, similar to Dylan Blue and giving off Chanel Blue vibes. It’s simply delicious, impossible not to like. Trust me, buy the 150ml. Longevity depends on everyone; on my dry skin it lasts at least 3 hours, projecting strongly for an hour before fading away until it dies.

Loewe 7 Cobalt could be considered a ‘blue fragrance’, but it’s different from the known ones. It opens like shower gel with a hint of sweet fruit. In the dry down it mixes that sensation with vetiver and a touch of incense. I’m surprised by this house; they have fragrances that don’t follow fads or trends, they have their own style. Ideal for daily, work, casual or semi-formal use. Except in winter, it works well for other seasons. Moderate projection and longevity of about 8 hours, releasing small bursts from time to time. Very good perfume, highly recommended.

  • StarlinCollado

Bought this blindly following an influencer and I made a mistake. It starts fruity, then dries down to wood and spices (clove) with a smoky touch. The clove saves it by adding a decent sweetness, but I still don’t understand the hype. Ultimately, it just feels like shower gel.

  • Jose Luis Tov

The blue par excellence. Very much within the line of blues, delivering fresh, versatile, and easy to like. Acceptable longevity and good projection. At first it may remind you of shower gel, but as it dries it becomes more incense-like and gains formality. For me, it suits better in a casual format. I sprayed it on my two-year-old son’s back as he was running around the house and wanted to try it on someone else; it confirmed that it projects very well for the first two hours smelling clean and fresh. The first minutes are not to my liking due to simplicity, but afterwards it becomes very rich. My wife, upon arriving from outside, asked ‘Who put on perfume?’, confirming projection and longevity. I liked it, easy to use and finish.

  • Nariz Feliz

Among the best in blues and one of the best Loewe probably. Fresh, energising, and very enjoyable to wear. Excellent purchase with very good quality. A signature perfume through and through.

  • McGrady81

The best blue on the market? No doubt. It has a déjà vu of Bleu de Chanel but herbal instead of citrus. I own Luna Rossa Carbon, Bleu EDP, and Y EDP 2019, and this has better longevity than all of them. My bottle is from the first batch, surpassing 8 hours with the best projection and sillage. I don’t see it as youthful, but for men over 30. Typical for autumn and spring when it stands out most; in winter it lacks punch and in summer I only see it at night.

  • Victortor

Familiar aroma that smells incredible. Opens fruity, slightly sweet, aromatic, and spiced. A refreshing and mineral sensation floats, very addictive. There is something metallic that takes a bit to get used to, but initially the herbal notes are also noticeable. The opening is striking and tasty, with something damp. As it dries, the underlying amber tone emerges, slightly sweet, and above all, it smokes over time. It has something of AdG Profumo that fascinates me without inventing anything. Correct performance (4-6 hours), versatile, slightly more masculine, and works all year round, perhaps less on very cold days. Good price and a safe purchase option. Office, semi-formal meals, or almost formal; it handles itself well in any setting.

  • ManucoSeven

The best blue I have tried; most smell bad or don’t stand out. This has a rich and fresh opening that soon turns into a formal and common blue, reminiscent of a Polo or a Bleu, but to my nose, three times more enjoyable. Very manly and feels less old than the classics. It has a strange touch between incense, vetiver, and clove that balances perfectly between fresh, masculine, and formal. It can feel familiar, like dad’s, but is usable for any age because it doesn’t smell old. Modern, timeless, and paternal. Very versatile for everyday wear or special occasions. If you are generous, it projects for hours. If the marine notes of other blues don’t convince you, this is your great alternative.

  • Carles Avilés

Subtle yet intriguing opening: soft spices that wrap around like an invisible veil. Immediate warmth with herbal touches and an ethereal fruity distillation. In the heart, dry green sage blends with mystical incense, creating an ancient whisper. The dry down is dense and noble, with creamy tonka bean and dark woods that persist with elegance. It speaks of mystery without shouting, for those who project intensity from silence. Refined and contemplative. If it were music, it would be ‘Sortilegis’ by Montsalvatge for that magical balance, or the intimate jazz of ‘Inverso’ by Carme Canela. As a colour, a deep metallic oxidised blue, profound with contained sheen.

  • After two months of use, my honest opinion: I am a huge fan of the blues. The first time I tried it, I was surprised by the good combination from Loewe. The sage is the star, similar to my favourite Y EDP. The incense is very wearable, reminiscent of Blue by Chanel. Notes such as vetiver and pink pepper complete a mix of familiar proposals. It is easy to like but defines a solid and professional profile, neither too youthful nor old-fashioned, but secure. Recommended for those over 25. If you are looking for something that pleases, generates compliments, and projects well within the blues, it is a great option. If you are looking for something to break your brain with novelty, this is not your path.

  • titancilo

One of my favourites from the collection. An all-rounder with an elegance and consistency that fit my profile perfectly. I wear it at the office in a suit and it complements my look to perfection. Among the blues, my favourites, it stands equal to Blue by Chanel, if not surpassing it. It delivers 100% on longevity, projection, and sillage. It is simply spectacular in every way.

  • Avalon1224

Very fresh and elegant, ideal for any time of day. Pleasant, casual, and with that touch of freshness you’re looking for.

  • Definitively the best blue fragrance I’ve ever tried; it has become my signature. 100% all-rounder, smells great, exceptional quality as Loewe usually delivers, almost niche I’d say. Fresh, mysterious, elegant, versatile, pleasant, casual, it has everything. Depending on how you want to dress and the vibe you want to give, this perfume will accompany you perfectly. I don’t see it as very youthful, yes for someone from 24 onwards, someone who already knows what they want and has their feet on the ground. I couldn’t recommend it more; the best of the blues.

  • Ladies and gentlemen… this is a beast of a fragrance. Balanced and rounded, with those delightful and characteristic jumps in perception typical of Loewe. It gives me a certain olfactory fatigue, so I don’t recommend applying it to the neck or chest if you want to enjoy it properly. Buy blind, without a doubt.

  • NicoEspejo

One of the best designer blues I own. It has similarities with Bleu de Chanel, my favourite, but I find this Cobalt more usable; the Chanel one invites me to dress more formally and for special occasions (I think its price also influences why I use it less). Leaving the comparison, Loewe 7 Cobalt has that slight spicy, woody, aquatic, and herbal touch that makes it unique and addictive. I see it for men over 35. Projection and trail are moderate, lasting about 6 hours as a blue should, avoiding extreme climates. It goes well for day and night. For work, day-to-day as a signature or a meeting with friends, it performs a 10. Worth it, suitable for blind buy, a beauty.

  • Adding a comment: the first perfume my 4-year-old daughter gave a 100% thumbs up to, haha.

  • Reynaldo Linan

Ideal for hot days. Incense, spices… my signature scent. It could have better performance; I have doubts if it suffered a reformulation, but it’s still worth it.

  • Loewe 7 Cobalt is a book blue that stands out for its perceived high quality. Very well balanced, no note overpowers the others; it’s a fragrance of nuances. I’m not sure if they’ve reduced the incense; I don’t notice it too much, it’s just a contribution of depth. I sense a certain undeclared aquatic/seawater touch. Balanced, noble, masculine, clean, with presence. The rest is well known. With common sense, it’s suitable for almost all year round and any situation. Everyone likes it and it generates positive reactions. Lasts 6-7 hours. Projection, trail, and sillage are notable, but with good taste. I have a reserve bottle. All-rounder. You don’t know what to wear and with this you’re right. Always recommended and for good reason.

  • Scentinel15

To start, it’s not the classic blue; the incense touch gives it personal distinction and a supremely elegant aroma. I recommend it for the day, not for extreme heat. Longevity is around 6 hours. It’s perfect for elegant events where you want to stand out. The best of the Loewe perfumes I’ve tried. Test it on skin before buying blind. Best regards.

  • I had been dabbling with 7 Cobalt off and on, but only with time have I truly understood what it’s about. It doesn’t seek quick approval, much to the dismay of Primor or Druni sales assistants. It starts clean, fruity, with a pleasant spicy touch, but it’s not one to buy off the shelf; you have to wait for it to evolve to see how it redefines ‘blue’ without being strident. Then comes the incense, constant and integrated, less aggressive than in Loewe 7, where it forced you to take a stand. Here it doesn’t scare, but it’s noticeable. Over time, the vetiver gives it structure and everything clicks. It’s called ‘blue’, but it doesn’t play the same game as Bleu de Chanel: it’s less citrusy, more elegant, as if you’re wearing lace-up shoes instead of trainers. Compared to Sauvage, it avoids the excess of ambroxan and that invasive attitude; 7 Cobalt is more educated and mature. It shares cleanliness with Acqua di Gio Profondo, but here there are no waves, just incense that adds depth without being solemn. Compared to YSL Y EdP, forget the sweet, youthful touch; this is the older brother who knows when to speak and when to stay silent. Who wears it without standing out? The type who walks into a meeting smelling impeccable without anyone being able to tell what they’re wearing. People who know that security also has a scent. The longevity is good, the projection just, and although the pepper can become overwhelming if you overdo it, a few well-measured drops will keep you company for hours. Not for extreme summer heat, but it works almost all year round and isn’t as overhyped.

  • I already had the 150ml bottle and today another 100ml arrived that I bought at a good price; if I can find another at a good price, I’ll buy it too. I think that says it all; there’s no need to talk about the perfume.

  • Emilio E.M.G.

The best blue from the house. It adds a touch of elegance to the original Bleu and feels more original than Sauvage. Like any good blue, its versatility is total. At around 80-90€ for 100ml (2025 price), it remains a staple in my collection.

  • SebastianC2702

This is Acqua di Gio Parfum with a touch of acidic fruit in the base. It is a bit better than the ADG Parfum, but nothing surprising. They said it was the ‘best blue perfume’ and nothing like it. A rich perfume, yes. Versatile, yes. Adult, quite so. Addictive, not at all. It has moderate, if not low, longevity and projection. One should not exaggerate saying it is a bad perfume. Loewe 7 classic or Versace Dylan Blue seem better to me, or even the classic ADG although it lasts little. Good that it was only a decant to calm the anxiety of knowing its scent. 6.5/10.

  • Loewe 7 Cobalt is one of my favourites and I consider it my signature. It is the best blue perfume there is: ultra versatile, fresh and masculine at the same time. It opens with junberries and strong pepper, slightly sweet, but always accompanied by that incense that gives it a heavy and masculine aura; it is not church incense, but more oriental. Over time it becomes more vetiver and slightly vanilla-like, but always with pepper that keeps it masculine. This is where they differ: if you do not like pepper or incense, it is not for you, because they accompany it throughout the duration and are the most notable. The ingredient quality of Loewe is unsurpassable, comparable to Dior or Hermes. If it is on discount, I highly recommend it. It lasts 10 to 12 hours on skin and can smell on clothes for days, careful with the sprays. Projection is moderate to strong. I recommend it in spring and autumn, perfect for the winter transition; in summer it can be used but be careful with very hot or cold days. I have noticed that when I enter a room people notice it and I have received several compliments. For me it is a heavyweight in longevity. Longevity 4.5/5, Projection 4/5, Quality 5/5, Versatility 5/5, Compliments 4.5/5.

  • Well, I have tested it quite a bit, time for the review. First, I say that the aroma will be delicious to any man, like a super expensive, sophisticated shower gel with incredible masculinity. For me it combines two concepts: aromatic/spiced and amber/incense. I will not dwell much on the pyramid because it is linear, but the aromatic part of the sage lasts about 2 to 2.5 hours; afterwards it drops in intensity and appears from time to time. Upon application you feel almost frozen sage, thanks to the blackcurrants it gives something fruity, bitter and green, but not mentholated, rather a herb that transcends. It smells very realistic, with that ‘just showered’ factor. It is a pity it does not last the whole life of the perfume. From there it becomes an amber perfume due to the tonka bean, which provides a deep, almost resinous spicy sweetness. The beautiful part is the incense, which is there from the start, with an almost surgical factor, crafted, giving depth without being intrusive and adding mystery. As it fades, you feel the spiced vetiver from the pepper, soft, not like in Sauvage, barely to elaborate it, with a green vetiver from the sage traces that adds a soft woody note. My nose does not detect the clove. Performance: moderate to high longevity, minimum 5-6 hours on skin, up to 9-10 on clothes with several applications; the scent does not fade easily, although it does not last days. Projection is medium to high; cold weather is not compatible, it is reactive to heat and sweat. Do not use it in cold or at night, it does not give that freshly groomed man charm, but the first hours are beastly. Very masculine scent. The price hurts, but the quality is impressive, it never smells like alcohol or bad, it always behaves the same. Everyone will like it. For me, the best blue perfume that is not too dark. Scent: 10/10, Projection/Trail: 8.5/10, Versatility: 7/10, Price: 5/10.

  • Signature fragrance for any occasion and season. Niche perfume with top ingredients in a designer bottle. Projection over 2 hours and skin longevity superior to 8 hours. Clean, masculine, pleasant and quality. A serious perfume for those over 16, informal or daily wear for those over 30. The best blue perfume if you want to step away from the typical: Dylan Blue, Blue de Chanel, Polo Blue, etc.

  • JohnLecter86

Loewe 7 Cobalt is a clean fragrance with a sweet and masculine touch. To make it my signature, because it is not invasive; its opening is marked with that sweet junberry note. Personally I do not detect the incense, but the pink pepper and tonka bean feel very balanced and exquisite. It is totally worth it; if you are looking for something versatile, it is highly recommended. Projection and trail are moderate, but it easily lasts through an 8-hour workday. The more I use it, the more I cherish it. The only drawback is that I could only get the 100 ml version; I hope to catch a 150 ml one because it is worth it.

  • You might identify with this: upon spraying it smells like an adult, like a fifty-something who takes no risks, meaning they have retired from the game of seduction. However, it evolves and becomes green, slightly spicy and sweet, always with a clean and smoky base. The dry down is much richer than the opening and its incense is low, less so than in ADG Parfum. They can seem similar when the perfume fades on the skin. The quality seems good and longevity is acceptable. Occasions: office, family walks, almost any occasion but with sportswear. Be aware, it is a neutral-formal perfume… if you have a striking personality or appearance, this perfume will mute you a bit.

  • I find it a very clean fragrance. NOTE: it is not for young people; I recommend it from age 30 onwards due to its notes. Ideal for spring and warm days without being dry. At first it smells a bit like an old man, but as it dries down it evolves and unleashes that clean, somewhat conservative attitude. Use it for light outings, to the park, informal meetings with friends or walks by the beach or through a valley. If you seek cleanliness, elegance and discretion, it is a good perfume, but if you want to stand out or for a special occasion, choose something more appropriate to the situation.

  • gonzalezvertiz

Top notes are exquisite, luxury quality with excellent longevity. The scent is true to its notes: clean, rich, mature and versatile, with a fresh touch perfect for all seasons. I see it as ideal for daytime, the office, meetings or casual outings (not for parties). It gives the sensation of just stepping out of the shower. Regarding Loewe: they make quality perfumes but not for everyone; of those I have tried, this is the most versatile and suitable for anyone. It feels like they manufacture the old-fashioned way: what you smell is exactly what the pyramid states, with nothing hidden or softened, just the seven natural notes. I also tried the Elixir version and it offers the same experience. It is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ in its category. It is nothing new or exclusive, but in its function it is among the best.
