Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
Starts with citrus where bergamot takes the lead, blended with pepper, oakmoss and honey; it’s like a damp forest with moss and a sweet touch. After five minutes, a barbershop-style lavender appears, almost like air freshener, followed by marine notes (not aquatic) with tobacco and honey. As it matures, it settles into soft oakmoss with honey (like beeswax), tobacco, opium, jasmine and that marine air. It’s not easy to enjoy if you’re not experienced with niche fragrances, it strays from the commercial, but it works. It’s masculine but leans towards unisex. I’m not sure if I grasped the ‘hello darkness’ concept correctly, but it does smell like a dark, resinous forest smoked by incense.
