  • Hoy toca oler bien

It’s the double of YSL Tuxedo. The opening is a bit stronger than Tuxedo, but once dried down, they are like two drops of water. I’d say The Tux lasts longer. The price/quality is spectacular.

  • It doesn’t last long on the skin nor project much, what’s curious is that it seems to cause olfactory fatigue; to me, it feels very linear. It remains a fragrance for elegant dressing because it smells rich and masculine. It’s good, though I would ask for more projection.

I barely knew it, smelled it and fell in love. Bought a decant to test it on my skin and it became one of my favourites. It’s elegant and sexy for special occasions. The notes are balanced; although it’s described as earthy, it smells clean, nothing dry or dirty. The patchouli has sweet touches, very rich. I can imagine myself in a nice suit at a venue where that elegance is appreciated. Totally recommended. On my skin it lasted about 9-10 hours, with a projection of 3-4. I haven’t tried Tuxedo yet, but I will to compare which I like more.

Tested on a decant: it opens sharp, citrusy and floral, which is my favourite part. As it evolves, the sweet amber and vanilla mixed with rose emerge. It’s unisex, though the floral leans it slightly feminine. Seductive, versatile and perfect for spring; that’s the word that defines it. Very synthetic, but logical given the price.

  • Wooow!!! It is undoubtedly a YSL Tuxedo… and the best part is, at a better price. I certainly recommend it.

  • It smells delicious, but the longevity is minimal; you have to reapply every couple of hours. The scent, however, is totally recommended. By the way, it’s now called Winsome due to copyright issues.

  • It smells very rich, but the longevity is minimal; it’s like wearing it every couple of hours. The scent, however, is highly recommended. By the way, it’s now called Winsome due to copyright issues.

  • Pleasant, elegant, and masculine aroma. I’m not sure if it’s similar to YSL’s Tuxedo as I haven’t had the chance to smell it. For me, it causes olfactory fatigue; once applied, I can’t perceive it, nor the trail or projection. You can detect the sweetened patchouli with vanilla upon application. It has currently changed its name and is now called Winsome.

  • PERFECT SCENT. I found it on social media due to its resemblance to YSL’s Tuxedo, went to try it, and wow, it was love at first sniff. It’s quite friendly; the opening smells deliciously of patchouli, familiar if you wear perfumes. As it dries, the sweet and amber side becomes more noticeable, also slightly smoky (on my skin). If you like elegant and somewhat mature fragrances, you must have it.

  • They’ve changed the name to Winsome. It’s no longer The TUX. It seems that due to copyright issues, they had to remove that name, and now you’ll find it as Maison Alhambra Winsome. It’s the same perfume, just with a different name.

It’s a bomb, the opening is brutal, just like YSL Tuxedo, but on the skin it lasts only 2 or 3 hours before fading. I bought it due to the hype and it delivers, albeit little. I’d say 90% similarity, mind you it’s now called Winsome by Maison Alhambra. 8/10, it would be 10/10 if it lasted longer. Very versatile for all year round.

  • I tried it under the name Winsome. The opening is refreshing, but that acidic citrus note lacks strength to stand out; perhaps it’s a very soft orange with lavender. What dominates is the violet leaf, much more pleasant than the ones in Armaf’s Tres Nuit, which I hate; they smell of violet even though it’s not listed on the notes, with a great balance and restraint for spring, summer, and autumn, not winter. I don’t detect vanilla, but I do notice patchouli and amber as it dries. It’s elegant, soft, and not shouty. The stars are the violet and the patchouli. It reminds me of eating an orange polo in the 80s and biting the stick with the final juice: strange but not unpleasant. Due to its softness, it’s ideal for the office with a neutral profile. I give it 6 out of 10. It’s not bad, but I expected more. Perhaps the name change due to legal issues forced a reformulation to differentiate it from Tuxedo, which I don’t know. I’ll update if it evolves.

It’s a fantastic perfume for the first two or three hours, then it fades away as if nothing happened, leaving a very weak trail on the skin. The opening is extraordinary, just like YSL’s Tuxedo. I bought it for the hype and it delivers, but for a short time. I’d rate the similarity at 90% to Tuxedo. Note that it’s now called Winsome by Maison Alhambra. It would be a 10 out of 10 if it lasted longer; it’s suitable for all seasons and very versatile.

  • I’ve never smelled the original Tuxedo, so I won’t compare it with YouTubers who go over the top. But this Winsome (The Tux) is like Zadig & Voltaire’s This Is Him, just more intense. The opening reminded me of it, and its evolution confirms they are almost identical, with water, vanilla, and spices. If you don’t have the original, here is an alternative. It’s a dark, spicy fragrance, sitting midway between dense and light, soft, mature, long-lasting, and of high quality. It’s not just any Arabic perfume; it’s Maison Alhambra.

  • I’ve never heard the original Tuxedo, so I don’t base myself on the YouTubers who go overboard. But I assure you this Winsome (The Tux) is a This is Him by Zadig & Voltaire reloaded. The opening already reminded me of that, and the evolution convinced me: they are almost water drops, vanilla and spices. If you don’t have Tuxedo but are looking for This is Him, here is the alternative. It’s a dark, spicy perfume, in the limbo between dense and light, soft and mature. It’s not just any Arabic fragrance; it’s big Alhambra.

  • I bought The Tux for its reputation as an ultra-masculine and elegant aroma, but my perception was different. It smells good and lasts, but I can’t imagine a man wearing it. Upon smelling it, I think of an empowered woman aged 40 to 50, with her life sorted and driving a Suburban. I don’t know the original, but this one by Maison Alhambra seems like a ‘wealthy lady’ perfume who has already achieved everything. If you are looking for something rough or purely masculine, better test it first.

  • alpacavelluda

It doesn’t smell feminine at all. It’s kind and elegant, though the spicy opening can be a bit jarring. Then it settles down and everything balances into a very pleasant scent.

  • I bought it because of its reputation as an ultra-masculine aroma, but my impression was different. The quality is top-notch and it lasts a long time, but I can’t see a man wearing it. It evokes an empowered woman in her 40s or 50s, with her life sorted and a luxury car. This Maison Alhambra one smells like a ‘wealthy lady’ who has achieved everything. If you’re looking for something rough or purely masculine, give it a try first.
