  • I bought it blind for the price and it was a total hit; Maison Alhambra hits the mark again. The bottle is cool and comes in a plush red tin; these Arabic brands know luxury. The liquid is pink and attractive. I debuted it in the height of summer, and what a bad idea it was; it almost gave me a headache, nosebleed, and dizziness. It wouldn’t come off with two showers; it was an absolute stench. I stashed it away until autumn arrived. The bottle is heavy, the pink is cheerful, and it doesn’t stain. It atomises well, fine yet potent. At first, it’s a huge burst of red grapes with sweet, spring-like jasmine. It’s noticeable from over a metre away. It smells cheerful, vibrant, and youthful. You can detect ripe raspberries and a touch of sour gummies that tickle the nose. As it dries down, an intense neroli and orange blossom emerge. After two hours, the sweetness lingers on the skin like a creamy cloud, with roses or peonies and the grapes clearly identifiable. Hours later, from a distance, it smells of neroli and orange blossom, but up close, the grapes and plums remain, with a soft wood note, sandalwood, or incense that adds body without being overpowering. It reminds me a lot of L’Interdit and My Way. It’s feminine, versatile, and enchanting for women with personality.

  • I bought it blind for the price and it was a hit: Maison Alhambra surprises again. The bottle is cute and simple, wrapped in a plush red tin; these Arabic brands always aim for luxury. The liquid is pink, very attractive. After opening and letting it breathe for two weeks, I decided to debut it in the heat and almost regretted it: it gave me a headache, nosebleed, and dizziness. It wouldn’t come off with two showers; it was a terrible stench. I archived it until autumn, when the days cooled down. The bottle is heavy, with that cheerful pink that doesn’t stain clothes. It atomises well, fine and potent. At first, it’s a huge burst of red grapes with sweet, spring-like jasmine. It smells perfect from over a metre away. It’s cheerful, vibrant, young, and potent. You can detect ripe raspberries, but the scent grows in the palate like sugared gummies, those sour sweets that tickle the nose a bit. As it dries down, an intense neroli and orange blossom emerge. Two hours later, the sweetness lingers in the air like a cloud; up close, it becomes creamy, with flowers (roses or peonies?) and clear grapes at half a metre. Once fully dried (took six hours), the surroundings smell of neroli and orange blossom, while I still smell grapes and plums (though they aren’t declared). Pressing my nose close, I intuit a soft wood, sandalwood, or perhaps incense: nothing intoxicating, just a caress that enriches and adds body. I find it very similar to L’Interdit and My Way. It’s undoubtedly feminine, versatile, and enchanting, for women with personality who don’t go unnoticed.

Honestly, I wasn’t in the mood to try it due to the brand, but in the end, it’s Lattafa and the gamble paid off. The opening is brutally intense and smells almost identical to So Scandal by JPG. Given the price, which is a steal, and if you love white florals with neroli and sweetness, it’s your perfume. I picked it up for 500 pesos, and watch out, it’s very potent.

  • Yes @mitierradelibros

It lasts six hours on my skin and projects for two or three. I was very satisfied with that. What I notice most is the chewy aspect of the neroli; I don’t dislike it, but it wasn’t what I expected. I’ve used it at different times of day and it works very well; sometimes in the morning I feel it’s too strong, perhaps because I prefer quieter scents in the morning. I love the presentation; Maison Alhambra has minimalist and very beautiful bottles.

Duuuuulce, creamy, and full of white flowers. If you love creamy neroli, you’ll adore it. I disagree that it suits summer; it can be overwhelming with its sweetness. The milk note isn’t very prominent; it’s very creamy neroli. It’s not a dupe for My Way, but it follows that line, perhaps due to those tutti frutti gum-like neroli notes. It lasts a maximum of six hours, but an extra hour on clothes.

  • oliendobonito

Sweet and creamy, packed with white florals. If you love sweet neroli, this is the perfume for you. I disagree that it’s suitable for summer, as the intensity can feel a bit overwhelming. The milk note isn’t very prominent, but those neroli notes are super creamy. It’s not a dupe for My Way, though it follows a similar line, likely due to those neroli notes with a tutti-frutti gummi bear scent. Longevity is a maximum of six hours, but it can linger on clothes for another hour.

  • Yes @mitierradelibros

For me personally, it lasts six hours on the skin with a projection of two to three hours; in that regard, I’m very satisfied. What happens for me is that I really notice that gummy aspect of the neroli; I don’t dislike it, but it wasn’t quite what I expected. I’ve worn it at different times of day and it works very well, although today, wearing it in the morning, I feel it’s too much, perhaps because I prefer quieter scents at that time. I absolutely love the packaging; Maison Alhambra has minimalist and very beautiful bottles and boxes.

  • I bought it blind and it feels like a found treasure. It has floral notes, but I perceive it as fruity, sweet, acidic, and dry. It smells great when worn, but smelling the bottle reveals a nasty odour I can’t identify, perhaps due to the concentration. Obviously, Maison Alhambra makes dupes and the bottle recalls Scandal, though visually it doesn’t overdo the gold like other Arabic fragrances. It lasts about six hours on skin and a bit longer on clothes until washed. The trail is around two hours. It’s not for daily wear, but rather for going out to make an impression; it feels animalic and sensual. I’ve received compliments. It doesn’t overwhelm me, nor do I regret it; it’s always good to have options depending on the mood.

I bought it blind and it caught me off guard. The notes say floral, but to me they sound fruity, sweet, with a touch of acidity and dryness. It smells good when worn, but smelling the bottle reveals a nasty odour I can’t identify, perhaps due to the concentration. Obviously, Maison Alhambra makes dupes and the bottle screams Scandal immediately, though here the gold doesn’t overdo it like in other Arabic fragrances. The longevity is moderate, about six hours on skin and a bit longer on clothes until washed. The trail lasts about two hours. I don’t use it daily because I save it for going out with friends or on a date; it’s animalic and sensual, literally. I’ve received compliments. It’s not a scent that overwhelms me, nor do I regret it. It’s always good to have options to play with depending on the occasion, weather, or mood.

I liked it much more than So Scandal by JPG, which is strange as I’m not a fan of Arabic fragrances. It smells like that laundry detergent I adore, or fabric softener (it’s deadly in winter, so I’m sure I won’t tolerate it in summer). The milk note actually smells like milk, not metallic like others, and it surely has strawberry or raspberry even if they don’t list it. I have a sample and already want the full bottle. It resembles My Way but better (I hate My Way; the vanilla gives me nausea).

  • The scent is very rich; it reminds me of Prada Paradoxe Intense. It’s strong, but I love that it’s noticeable. The aroma is pleasant, especially in its dry-down. I’m still testing the longevity.

  • The scent is brutal; it reminds me of Prada Paradoxe Intense. It’s potent, but I love wearing it, and the dry-down is super pleasant. I’m still testing the longevity.
