It’s sweet, to be honest, I expected something more intense, like a bonbon, but no. I didn’t detect any floral notes and it’s not potent. My rating: 7/10.
I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m leaving this for anyone seeking a 90s Barbie scent. It’s the Secret Crush by VS; it reminded me of the dolls I used to have.
To clarify, this is a perfume inspired by the iconic Barbie in a pink bottle, so don’t expect a masterpiece or anything grown-up. I was hoping for the smell of a new Barbie or her plastic accessories, something that would bring back memories; it wasn’t like that. It smells simply fruity with a floral touch, artificial but pleasant. It suits a ten-year-old girl or a teenager. I liked it; it’s balanced, reasonably priced, and has a decent longevity of 4-5 hours. Well done on the little perfume, I would have just loved to feel some nostalgia, familiarity, and connect with the little girl who loved her Barbies.
It’s a fun, youthful scent that defines a pink, Barbie-style lady. At first, it’s fruity; I thought of red berries or candied raspberry. For a moment, it reminded me of Lush’s Fairy due to the cold weather, but once I moved around and warmed the perfume, I noticed sweet tropical notes with a doll-plastic touch akin to Aquolina’s whipped cream, without being cloying. It finishes with soft flowers, creating a cheerful, feminine fragrance with presence and lasting power at an accessible price.
I was pleasantly surprised: it smells like a newly bought Barbie, has good longevity, and I find it delicious.
