  • A few days ago a delicious smell arrived at my home: pastries, cookies, sweets. Everyone excitedly wondered where that rich aroma was coming from, had they brought a cake? Were they baking? We were disappointed to discover someone had found my body spray and decided to perfume the house with it. So in the air it smells delicious like cupcakes and decadent cakes; on the skin, I remembered why I stopped using it: nothing memorable, a very sweet scent that sometimes reminds me of grape Kool-Aid powder. The curious thing is that on the skin it fades quickly, but when sprayed into the air it lasts quite a while.

  • It really smells like cotton candy right at the moment of making it at the fair, it’s delicious and not as cloying as one might expect. Cons: it fades on the skin, doesn’t last half an hour, creates no sillage; it’s a very poor quality spray in that regard, although the aroma is delicious. It fulfils its function as an air freshener and has an economical price.

The first spray wiped away all my prejudices about this body mist. I thought it would be just as synthetic as the vanilla one, but it turned out to be an exquisite gourmand. As the comment above mine says: it’s as if they were making cotton candy right in front of you. There’s currently a fair in my city where they make gigantic cotton candies, almost my size. When I smelled Cotton Candy, it was like being transported to the fair and surrounded by those enormous sweets. To be honest, it’s one of the most authentic gourmand body mists I’ve tried. Authentic in the sense that it doesn’t try to pretend to be a scent it isn’t; it is exactly what it says it is. First, it made me smell of raspberry gum, strangely tempting. Then it evolved into a juicy caramelised strawberry that opened a path through a cane of sugar, leading finally to the vanilla and the star of the show, the cotton candy. I feel like a little girl when I wear this body mist, so warm, so cheerful, adorable, loved. It seems that with just a couple of sprays I could move the clock hands backwards. Affordable price, although it cost me some effort to find it in my city ($65 MXN). Astonishingly, it has an enormous trail on my skin. I only wore it once and the whole room filled with such a delicious aroma. An explosion of cotton candy. The longevity is moderate, contrary to what I expected. ♡Scent: 9.5/10 ♡Trail: 10/10 ♡Longevity: 8/10

The first spray removed all my prejudices against this body. I thought it would be as synthetic as the vanilla one, but it turned out to be an exquisite gourmand. As the previous comment says: it’s as if they were making cotton candy right in front of you. Now there’s a fair in my city with giant cotton candies; smelling Cotton Candy transported me to the fair surrounded by those enormous cottons. To be frank, it’s one of the most authentic gourmand bodies I’ve tried. Authentic because it doesn’t try to pretend to be something it’s not; it is what it says it is. First it made me smell of raspberry gum, tempting, then evolved to juicy caramelised strawberry, opened a path of cane sugar, led to vanilla and the star of the show: the cotton candy. I feel like a girl, warm, cheerful, adorable and loved. It seems with two sprays I could turn back the clock. Accessible price although I had trouble finding it ($65mxn). Astonishingly it has huge sillage on the skin; once I put it on, the whole room filled with that delicious aroma. An explosion of cotton candy. Moderate longevity, contrary to what I believed. Scent: 9.5/10, Sillage: 10/10, Longevity: 8/10.

Cotton candy! It smells like cotton candy at maximum power, but very synthetic, cloyingly sweet, with no evolution. I consider it very simple, ideal for a little girl or a young teenager who is just starting to use perfumes. Besides its presentation, which is a plastic bottle. Regarding its use, I recommend using it on cold days; in the heat it can be annoying. Quite informal and childish, it would be a mistake to use it at an important event. Smelling it, it brings to my mind a costume party or an afternoon at the fair… I didn’t know it was a niche brand; personally, it’s the only fragrance from this line that I found somewhat acceptable, the others mostly smell bad. I don’t like synthetic scents; they give me nausea, besides they smell very much like what they are; cheap. Very easy to find, they are under $4.00 USD.

Pure cotton candy! Smells at maximum power, but very synthetic, cloyingly sweet and with no evolution. I see it as very simple, ideal for a young girl or teenager starting with perfumes. Incredibly synthetic and very sweet, yet at the same time super addictive, at least for me who is a fan of sweet and gourmand scents. It is true that it smells just like when they make cotton candy at fairs. Unlike Pink Sugar, this is 100% cotton candy from start to finish.

So sweet it made me dizzy; it smells like cotton candy but for some reason smelled super minty on me and that combination turned me off. It has no sillage and disappears very quickly.

  • I had been looking for it for a while until it appeared at WalMart today!! 80 Mexican pesos, obviously I had to buy it. The opening seems to me to be grape, not cotton candy as referred to here; the dry-down refers to me to a raspberry Kool-Aid containing lots of sugar. I don’t perceive SO much cotton candy scent as everyone refers to here, but rather sugar mixed with raspberry, which I find very rich. I only sprayed it twice so I can’t expect much as it is a body mist, but I get sharp bursts of the scent and I’m glad to have it. Sweet and delicious, I recommend it.

  • I’ve been looking for this for ages and it finally appeared at WalMart for 80 pesos, so obviously I bought it! The initial scent is grape, not quite cotton candy as others say, but once it dries, it smells like raspberry Kool-Aid with lots of sugar. I don’t smell much cotton candy like everyone mentions, but rather a mix of sugar and raspberry which I find delicious. I only sprayed it twice, so I don’t expect much, but there are lovely bursts of scent and I’m delighted to have it. Sweet and tasty, I recommend it.

It’s a very nice body mist. It has an opening like a somewhat synthetic grape, then it becomes a burnt sugar scent but lasts very little, finally leaving a cotton candy scent with grape gum. I like it very much; it’s not invasive, it gives me joy to use it, and besides, it’s very economical at Bodega Au/Walmart, approx $85. It lasts well for a body mist, doesn’t project much for that reason, but I like to reapply it.

  • nina_garza

Honestly, I don’t know where they get the ‘cotton candy’ scent from; personally, it reminds me of grape, or at best, a mix of bubblegum and grape syrup. I’m not saying it smells bad, however, it’s an aroma that doesn’t entirely surprise me. Despite its low cost, it’s not something I’d buy again. I’ve smelled body mists with much better longevity, trail, and overall scent than this.

  • Micherrymrls

A lovely body mist. It starts with a slightly artificial grape note, then shifts to burnt sugar, though that doesn’t last long, finishing as cotton candy with a grape chew. I absolutely love it; it’s not overpowering, brings me joy to wear, and is super affordable at Bodega Au or Walmart for around 85 pesos. Lasts well for its type, though it doesn’t project much, so I enjoy reapplying it.

  • Oh no, I love other scents from them but I can’t stand this one. I like little sweets but this doesn’t smell like cotton candy to me at all; it smells like Grape, just Grape, as if the packaging were purple, and then the candy part is that sticky sugar that smells old, I don’t know how to explain it to you, that cloying sugar that isn’t delicious nor really gourmand, too artificial and pungent that you want to wash it off. I love little sweets but this smells very cheap to me, like made-up sugar, like Push Pop or something, but not delicious. Then the worst is that I found a smell like rotten, like sour; for me it’s an absolute no, it would be like a hard grape caramel that’s gone bad or something like that. Sorry to those who like it, but if the beginning was difficult for me, the dry-down was to throw the bottle out the window.

  • Oh no, I love other scents from this brand but I simply can’t stand this one. I like sweet things, but this doesn’t smell like cotton candy; it smells intensely of grape, as if the bottle were purple to match. Then the ‘candy’ part is that sticky sugar that smells old—I can’t explain it well, that cloying sweetness that isn’t delicious or truly gourmand, too artificial and pungent that you want to wash it off. I adore sweets, but this smells very cheap, like cheap push-pop sugar, nothing delicious. Worse still, I detected a rotten, sour smell. For me, it’s a resounding no; it would be like a hard, rotten grape caramel. Sorry, for those who like it, but if the opening was difficult for me, the dry-down was enough to throw the bottle out the window.

  • At first, smelling it just through the cap didn’t appeal to me, but I trusted a TikTok claiming it dries down well on the skin, and it’s true. A little while later, it smells lovely and subtle, like cotton candy. Initially, it smelled excessively sweet and overwhelming of grape, but that changes as it dries. In my opinion, it’s a body mist I use straight after showering, just for staying in or for everyday wear. It’s a good purchase for smelling nice on an ordinary day; it’s not bad at all, and I recommend it 💗👀

  • When I bought it, I felt the opening was very alcoholic. Now that I’ve got used to the opening of fragrances more, I can immediately feel the cotton candy, grape, gum scent, a very sweet aroma. While it can feel synthetic, it’s very delicious. My friends have praised it to me and we agree that it’s very delicious, besides it costs between 6,000 to 7,000 Chilean pesos at Lider.

  • When I first bought it, the opening smelled very alcoholic. Now that I’m more used to it, I immediately detect cotton candy, grape, and bubblegum notes. It’s very sweet and synthetic, yet rich. My friends have praised it, and we agree it’s excellent. It costs between 6,000 and 7,000 Chilean pesos at Líder.

  • As others have said, it doesn’t smell like cotton candy but rather sugary grape juice. It’s rich, but nothing extraordinary.

  • At first it smells like very sweet, fruity grape jelly. As it dries on my skin, it becomes rich cotton candy; I love it. The problem is that it lasts very little. The advantage is that it’s economical and you can reapply it as many times as you like.

  • Anjellychee

It starts with an artificial strawberry aroma, very fresh, pleasant and sugary. It’s a lovely mist that delivers what it promises. Longevity and trail are light. As it dries, it smells more like authentic cotton candy, but it remains fresh.

  • I was very surprised. I was looking for that scent and it literally smells like the cotton candy sold here. When you first spray it, there’s a hint of grape with sugar, but almost instantly it becomes sugary cotton candy. It’s hard to believe something so cheap can have good longevity and quality; I wear it to sleep on cold days and still feel it the next morning. That said, the trail is low.

  • This body mist literally smells like cotton candy; it’s not a memory, it’s the real thing. At first, from the bottle or the first few minutes, it smells sweet but generic, like grape jelly with raspberry, which didn’t convince me much. But over time (no more than 20 minutes) the party scent appears. Once at school, a boy asked me why I always smelled of cotton candy. It depends heavily on pH; on my family it smells like a fairground, but others don’t get that impression. On me it lasted about four hours, but it varies from person to person. If you’re looking for something elegant or grown-up, this isn’t for you; it’s very sweet, lovely, simple fairground cotton candy, with no complexities.

  • emosmellscandylike

Smells like grape bubblegum, not cotton candy. A friend said it smells like a kid eating sweets and swallowing them whole, and since then I’ve never looked at it the same way, haha. The longevity is minimal, both the scent and the trail. But as they say, for the price it has, that’s what you get.
