It’s a clone of Invictus Platinum, but without that absinthe-like alcohol note.
Excellent scent at the start, then it becomes sweet and woodsy-fresh. It lasts about 12 hours with moderate sillage. Ideal for summer.
I bought a decant to try it before purchasing blindly. Unlike others, I don’t detect the citrus notes; in the opening and dry down it smells more like mint and lavender. It always reminds me of Natura’s Kaiak Aventura, perhaps due to the shared sage note. If you have that perfume, you might agree with me. It didn’t disappoint me, I like it, but I expected more citrus; I barely notice the orange and grapefruit blend in the background.
I bought it after watching a thousand YouTube videos claiming it was a wonderful fresh scent. My nose must be playing tricks because it’s the opposite: wearing it in the heat is suicide; it’s heavy, synthetic, and two sprays left me queasy. I can’t detect any citrus notes; it smells like mint tea with honey, which is horrible. The scent followed me around. Saying it’s fresh is like confusing day with night. A complete waste.
Last time, people smelled it from two metres away. I was walking on a football pitch and a friend shouted from the corner: ‘What a great perfume!’. A pleasant surprise. We all know about the beastly longevity, but I didn’t expect such projection. Anyway, for safe summer wear: compliments galore, it doesn’t fade, and it pleases even the least trained noses.
Absolutely gorgeous, the freshest one I own and my favourite. Projection and longevity are brutal.
After wearing it for a month, it’s improved quite a bit. At first it smelled like glue with Hawas, but gradually that scent faded (or I got used to it) and it’s not as annoying now. It’s a basic men’s fragrance for everyday wear: you won’t stand out, but everyone will think you smell good.
I was recommended it many times expecting a younger Invictus. Total disappointment: it smells like cheap, typical fragrance, lacking class. Only mint, lavender, and a basic citrus note stand out. I’d only recommend it for children aged 9 to 12.
Truth be told, it smells like old mint, which is a bit odd. While it lasts well, it’s not that summer freshness they promise.
Strange scent, like standing next to a tree in the rain before it turns overly sweet. It works for daytime, but above 30 degrees it’ll give you a headache. Not bad, but I don’t like it at all. The longevity, however, surprised me.
A lovely, tasty scent, delightfully orange. On the skin, it leaves a slightly musky impression, although it doesn’t declare musk. That’s how I perceive it; I’m not sure if it’s something mentholated. A perfume I won’t let go without. Very rich; despite owning several challenging fragrances that I adore, this is one of the most commercial ones I have, yet I enjoy it immensely.
A clear citrus opening; as it dries, the lavender comes through along with those herbal and green notes. The mint isn’t as strong as claimed, but it still feels fresh. It projects well for the first two hours, then fades a bit but lasts for ages, even smelling close to the skin after a shower. It’s masculine, not for everyone, and might improve with age, but for the price, it’s a hit. 7.5/10.
Excellent perfume, very versatile. It’s for daily wear but stands out in the heat thanks to its freshness. 10/10, I loved it. The longevity is incomparable: I sprayed it on my wrist for a test and the next day, after a shower, it was still there, even though I’d already applied Odyssey Homme.
I bought it with trepidation as it was compared to Hawas Ice and Invictus Platinum, but they share minimal aromatic similarities; each has its own DNA. After testing it for almost two weeks, I can say Odyssey Aqua makes you feel fresh and clean. Little is said about the fresh mint it contains; I’ve read people claim it’s old mint, which is a shame as many seem unaware of perfumery or ambroxan. Rate it as citrusy, very warm, and upon drying, minimal sweet notes with a pleasant herbal touch, not annoying to the first sniff. We all have different senses of smell; I don’t share the view that it’s bad. If you’re just starting your collection, I recommend it; it’s great value for money. I was impressed that colleagues and workmates liked it in the office; positive comments didn’t keep me waiting. Recommended for having something delicious for summer and mid-afternoon heat.
A marked citrus opening that quickly gives way to green hyssop notes. I detect the mint strongly, less so the lavender. It evolves with green notes, fresh and herbal, with a subtle sweet base that isn’t cloying. It gives a musky impression, a clean scent. It’s not a beast as the videos claim; it has good longevity for a fresh fragrance, leaving lovely trails for the first hour before fading slowly. I recommend it for summer, spring, informal occasions, and everyday wear.
My go-to for the heat. I wear it for everything; it’s a proper powerhouse. If you’re unsure, it’s a 100% safe purchase. Worth every penny.
A pity the opening doesn’t last as long, but it’s fresh and delicious. I tested it in the stifling summer heat and the skin performance is brutal; on thick fabrics, it’s surely another level. Don’t be afraid to wear it in the heat; it smells delightful, not like a lion’s den. I adore citrus, and this Aqua and Mandaryn Sky are absolute gems, though distinct scents. Just a note: don’t have someone smell it daily. What a multitasker this Aqua is.
Like mango and chilli gummies and want to smell like them? Use this.
Months ago, I accompanied my girlfriend to Fraiche and decided to try a bottle inspired by L’Immensité by LV. I loved it and the longevity is impressive. When it dries down, it smells very similar but with that aquatic and sweet touch of Invictus that everyone talks about. It’s probably in the top 3 of the collection, alongside Homme White Edition and Mandaryn Sky Elixir.
It arrived and won me over. It’s green-citrusy, reminiscent of Aerher but with more body. I tested it on my left hand and Thurati Electric on the right; this fragrance is a beast, whereas Thurati barely registers, completely overshadowed. Finding a summer scent this potent is rare. Ideal for those over 30.
For me, this ranks among the best fresh, versatile, and aromatic perfumes available at an excellent price without breaking the bank. It has great performance, projects well and smells rich; I won’t argue that. Every time I wear it, I enjoy it first, then those around me find it scandalously delicious; there’s an air of elegance and sophistication that earns good compliments. Women and men love it, they even ask for it for themselves. Here’s my advice to you, sir: listen to me, buy it.
Smells almost identical to Club de Nuit Bling.
A fragrance that offers me nothing. The mint is superfluous; it tries to be the star but remains timid; I feel no citrus, just a hint of mint and grass. I don’t understand the recent hype; I suppose it’s easy to like, very simple. I don’t recommend buying blind if you’re looking for personality; Turathi Blue is a better bet.
An excellent citrus, perfect for summer with incredible longevity for its category. Very versatile, it resembles Invictus Platinum quite closely, easy to wear and sure to get you some compliments. I was very surprised; it’s a great daily option.
Rich but it doesn’t last at all 😢
Fresh and sweet, a delicious scent. The trail is moderate, not intrusive, and lasts quite a while on both skin and clothes.
When it arrived, I was disappointed: it wasn’t bad-smelling but not good either, simply a typical fresh scent. I let it rest for two or three weeks and it changed significantly; now it’s fresh and herbal with subtle, almost imperceptible sweet touches that complement the scent. For me, it’s safe for everyday wear, very versatile, has earned several compliments, and its trail is wonderful: not intrusive but enough to make you noticed. My final verdict: it’s an excellent perfume if you’re looking for something safe, perfect for any age and occasion. If you want something reliable, it’s a very good option. Scent: 9/10, Trail: 8/10, Longevity: 8/10, Value: 10/10.
A woman’s opinion smelling it on her husband: it’s a good fragrance, but there are better options for the price. It’s ideal for heat and everyday wear, but that’s all. It feels very simple, very flat. I insist, it’s good but too expensive for what it offers (Arabs have got us used to more for less 🫢). Edit: looking at the notes, I only smell citrus and green; I don’t detect the woody or amber tones…
Fresh from start to finish. Ideal for everyday wear, the gym, school or work. You wear it effortlessly with good longevity and projection.
I just sprayed it and came rushing over excited to say it’s terrible: synthetic and exaggerated. It has a reminiscence of 9am, which I dislike. This water barely beats it. It also smells like Bad Boy Cobalt, but worse. I don’t understand how people buy this when there’s Adolfo Domínguez that outshines it tenfold in quality and price.
To be honest, I picked this up recently from Armaf during their 200ml promotion. My expectations were sky-high and they were fully met: it smells like a clean man and it’s brilliant. So far I’ve only tested it in the heat, but I want to try it in cooler weather. A very smart purchase; if you fancy buying blind, I’ll update you in a few weeks.
Rich and very green. It’s all about grabbing attention: strong and long-lasting. Daily wear, not for parties or enclosed spaces. At first, it has that typical synthetic smell common in Arab fragrances, but within a minute it’s pure bliss.
My favourite perfume. Fresh, masculine, sweet, good sillage and longevity. A BRUTALITY. MY FAVOURITE PERFUME.
Opening almost identical to Invictus Platinum. After two hours, it becomes sweeter, making it versatile for day/night and temperatures between 12 and 20 degrees. It’s a youthful synthetic scent but very wearable; women love it.
I had few expectations and ended up liking it. Citrus opening that within minutes turns herbal and aquatic; very suitable for summer and easy to enjoy, except for the patchouli. Longevity of 10 to 12 hours after maceration, with good projection that doesn’t overwhelm. I got it for 32 USD (8.5/10). I don’t recommend it if you own Hawas Ice or For Him, as they duplicate the DNA of the Invictus line and would be redundant.
Very versatile, ideal for day and night, but its freshness makes it perfect for hot weather. I liked the longevity for smelling good all day. Perhaps the projection is slightly low, but it’s worth it for almost any occasion. I wouldn’t wear it to a major meeting, though. Scent: 9/10, Sillage: 8/10, Longevity: 8/10, Value for money: 9/10.
My first blind buy: a fighter fragrance. Excellent price, longevity, and projection. I use it only in intense heat; the opening is strong and overwhelming, but it becomes more tolerable once dry. It smells like split pineapple with loads of mint (even though it doesn’t contain pineapple). It’s not my favourite, but it’s a very good fragrance for the price. If you need something that lasts in the blazing sun, this is it.
Brutal. Vibrant and aromatic; you never get tired of it. It’s not complex or groundbreaking, and that’s where its success lies: it delivers exactly what it promises. It has presence, is fresh, and offers great longevity. Chimpún. Highly recommended at 100%, always a staple in my collection. Nothing to envy from Acqua di Gio, and at half the price.
They branded me as the ‘ideal blind buy unisex’ thanks to influencers, but it feels like another fake review. Is it decent? Yes. Is it mind-blowing? No. Is it new? Absolutely not. It’s a bottle of mint, ambroxan, and citrus; comparing it to Bad Boy Cobalt is an insult, as that one actually has personality. On skin, it faded quickly in the heat—a poor experience. Recommended only for summer or daily wear, never for special occasions.
The most synthetic fragrance I’ve ever tried. The opening is aggressive, smelling of astringent chemicals and cheap mint. While I adore orange, there’s no trace of it here. Once dry, it leaves an identifiable yet artificial cedar scent, similar to Hugo BOSS Extreme but worse and more synthetic. It lasted over eight hours, but it’s not pleasant. Do not buy it blindly.
