  1. When Ben Gorham of Byredo sets out to recreate his father’s childhood scent, magic happens. A potent, green sage, a delicate rose, and a jasmine that shines at its peak. Finally, the almond calms that suffocating sage, tying everything together. A fine musk elevates this classic fragrance into something niche and versatile. The journey isn’t linear: it begins with sage and ends with warmth and tonka bean. It’s indescribable, impossible not to wear, like an English gentleman in an indie suit. I’m fascinated by it; it makes the scent truly unique.

  2. It suits me; I think it’s a fragrance with both present and future appeal. The greens, I believe, will generate quite a buzz. The essences are of high quality, as is usual for this niche house. The oriental resin base balances this subtle unisex scent.
