I bought it seeking intensity, but on me it proved too floral and strong for a normal Wednesday. I left it in the dressing room without much desire. Then my sister came by, tried it out of curiosity, twirled in front of the mirror and said: ‘This is mine’. It thrilled her; it reminded her of an elegant scent from the past but improved and warmer. I gifted it to her with a smile. In the end, this perfume found who needed it. Shared passion, no dramas.

I tried it on Tuesday morning expecting something heavy like YSL Libre, but I was surprised. First warm orange spices, then a potent floral-amber twist that felt like stepping into a cosy lounge. Later my partner leaned in and whispered: ‘This is yours’. He usually prefers light scents, but this, he said, ‘makes you feel powerful’.
