Oro e Miele: A New Oriental Vanilla Scent from Giardini Di Toscana

Oro e Miele is the latest release from Giardini Di Toscana, arriving in 2026 as part of the Oriental Vanilla fragrance family. It is designed for both men and women and was created by perfumer Silvia Martinelli.

The name translates as “gold and honey”, and the perfume lives up to it with a bright floral start, a syrupy sweet heart, and a warm base of powdery woods and resins. It is an opulent, comforting scent with a modern feel.

At the top, almond blossom, heliotrope and rose introduce the composition. This opening is softly floral and subtly powdery, with a gentle almond-like edge that leads naturally into the richer notes to come.

The heart of the scent is built around honey, vanilla, coconut and berries. Honey and vanilla form the core, creating a smooth, gourmand sweetness, while berries add a hint of tartness and coconut delivers a creamy, almost lotion-like texture.

Tonka bean, white musk, iris, benzoin, sandalwood and cedar form the base. The result is a blend of resinous warmth, delicate powder and dry woods that gives the fragrance a long-lasting, well-rounded finish.

Among the accords are vanilla, sweet, floral, powdery, honey, amber, coconut, musky, iris and woody. This combination nudges Oro e Miele towards a contemporary oriental style, balancing indulgence with elegance.

The scent currently has an average score of 3.88 out of 5, drawn from 294 ratings and 12 reviews. For a fragrance launched in 2026, it has already attracted attention among lovers of sweet, rich perfumes.

What stands out is the sense of intention behind the blend: the “gold” appears through shimmering flowers and amber, while the honey anchors the formula. It is a confident, enveloping perfume made for noticeable wear.

Oro e Miele will suit fans of oriental and gourmand perfumes, particularly those drawn to vanilla, honey and creamy coconut textures. It is also a good match for anyone wanting a warm unisex fragrance with a powdery-woody base and strong presence.

Oro e Miele is a rich, indulgent oriental vanilla that unfolds from fresh florals to a honeyed, creamy heart, then settles into a balsamic woody base. An appealing choice for those who like their fragrance expressive, warm and full-bodied.

  1. The divine opening, a sunny, airy, sweet honey with even citrusy, floral undertones. Then it powders a little, and I understand what other reviews say about the vintage touch. For me, it lost that clean honey quality and goes more towards a heliotrope that I don’t enjoy as much.

I love it, it’s a somewhat heavy perfume and I totally agree with Emmy that after the initial minutes it reminds you of the drydown of my beloved Celeste, though without being a copy since this one is honey and you can tell. What for some is a disadvantage, for me is a marvel. Since it shares Celeste’s DNA (marine and sweet note; different from BL which smells like condensed milk or white chocolate and which I also love), I feel compelled to add it to my collection. I’ll update later on longevity, though I hope it’s eternal like the others I have from this brand. GdT doesn’t disappoint in that regard.

  3. Commenting that any perfume is for “trained” noses is a snobbish comment. You consider yourself of a superior class and despise popular opinion. They should delete your comment. Just say whether you like it or not. I work in this world and it never occurred to me, or to anyone, to make those pretentious comments of superiority to appear of higher status. A perfume has never been something you have to train; we all know how to smell. Some perceive more nuances than others, but at the end of the day, for some it smells good and for some it doesn’t.

  4. Oro e Miele is a perfume for trained noses. I love it… and everyone around me who has smelled it does too. It’s a honeyed fragrance, without the honey note necessarily being the protagonist. I really appreciate the floral part in the opening, it’s creamy with the rose, powdery from the heliotrope, and then it has a special softness thanks to the almond. The rose itself doesn’t stand out as a flower. It’s a blend of nuances. The coconut is there but it’s not the typical cream or beach lotion scent. However, it brings its exoticism to the essence. Its projection is enormous, leaving a trail (a perfumed veil) even when you move to another space, within a room or living room. It’s incredibly dense, appreciable, long-lasting. My daughter too, she stole it from me for a few weeks and told me that at her work, she doesn’t lack compliments. It’s now her signature summer fragrance. It’s long-lasting, staying about eight hours on skin. It’s incredibly attractive and I wouldn’t say for excessively hot days, but I do use it for summer nights out — because I know I’ll turn heads, I’ll be well dressed with it and the best part is I won’t have any need to reapply. I’m aware that if you’re not a fan of its notes and accords, you won’t enjoy it as much as I do, who am a lover of honey and coconut, and the flowers involved; therefore, I recommend trying it before diving in if you have doubts. Otherwise, it’ll be an excellent blind buy! For me, I repeat, this new fragrance is charming and it’s really worth it.

Exquisite, a delight, a pleasure to smell it, and hopefully I’ll smell like that soon. It’s marketed more towards women, but as a man I use it without any qualms. It smells a lot of talc, sweetish, pleasant, you can notice the iris. My girlfriend loved it, but I think I’ll use it more, haha, I don’t know, it made me feel tender, I’d smell like that all day. It lasts a long time, obviously more on clothes. It got on my watch, and three weeks later you can still smell it. Of course, it no longer projects for at least a week. Highly recommended, obviously try it. After all, it’s a matter of taste.

  6. Scarecrow! Buy this perfume for your worst enemy. They’ve invented all these notes, there’s no way to take it, this smells of old times when everything still smelled of amber and patchouli. It causes horror.

I’d like to give it another chance someday, but it didn’t invite me to try it on skin. Mainly because I noticed a lot of talc and a more vintage smell, not to say of older people than me. Too serious, elegant, and powdery for me. Nothing modern. If you expect a gourmand of honey, coconut, and rose, you won’t find it here.

  8. Smells like almond with honeyed coconut powders, reminds me of Sweet Oriental by Monegal, but this one is less sharp, richer, more enjoyable. The drydown has the characteristic smell of Bianco Latte, which I do like, yes, it’s beautiful. I recommend it, yes.

  9. I really wanted to try this perfume since I’m constantly searching for the perfect honey scent. However, I was disappointed. In the opening, although the honey is more noticeable, I perceive a note like rubber or burnt gum that puts me off. I don’t know what it could be, I haven’t read other reviews describing the same thing, maybe my nose is already ruined. But every time I bring my wrist close, I get a headache. As the minutes pass, that artificial smell disappears and what remains is a very sweet and warm pastry, reminding me more of the drydown of Celeste than Bianco Latte, but with violet replaced by honey. It’s pleasant but it becomes cloying. As for longevity, it’s a beast. Based on what I’ve tried from this house, I consider it’s not for me; I feel it has personality but I haven’t found a perfume that makes me want to buy it. Except for Bianco Latte, which for me is the best gourmand that exists.

  10. Without a doubt, it’s a sweet and warm caress. I’m not a fan of honey perfumes, but here it’s a distinguished note, very well balanced, and I dare say it promises to be as good as Blanco Latte. The best of the trilogy.

I had to order it in the discovery kit as soon as it came out. A powdery delight, talc with honey and vanilla. Soft and caressing with heliotrope. A safe purchase, in my opinion.
