For me, this and Celeste have been much better than the viral Bianco Latte (which, although it’s a good perfume, I find less original and slightly cloying). You can tell the house’s DNA is similar in both, but this is a sweet spiced amber with very subtle rose touches that even those who dislike rose might enjoy.

  • A surprise gift from my partner for Christmas. The opening is a PEPPER BOMB that stings my nose and I don’t quite like it. After five minutes, it becomes more amber and creamy, with a rose heart that isn’t too mature and a base of woods and patchouli. It has immense character and is totally winter-appropriate. It lasts over 10 hours on skin and isn’t for every occasion due to its extreme projection in the first few hours. I see it as unisex, although some noses might find it more masculine. Perhaps it hasn’t generated as much hype as Bianco Latte, but it’s a good creation. Overall, I think this house offers interesting things.

  • It opens with an intense pink pepper note that lingers for a while. Then the rose emerges, though it feels a bit artificial. I see it more as a feminine scent.

I had to layer another fragrance over this to cover the awful smell: at first, it smells like expired medicine someone forgot at the bottom of a cupboard.

  • Spiced and clean with a hint of wood. It suits me well and is pleasant, but only for wearing on oneself. It reminds me very much of the one my mother usually wears.
