About Ko
Ko De La Patagonia: an Easygoing Unisex Fragrance with a Floral Heart
Ko is a fragrance from De La Patagonia, launched in 2024. Created for women and men, it sits within a warm, spicy and floral olfactive family.
The perfume starts with cardamom, then opens into a yellow floral heart before settling on a sweet, vanillic tonka bean base. It is a friendly, balanced composition with plenty of character.
Cardamom provides an aromatic opening that is both fresh and gently spiced. It is not sharp; instead, it welcomes you into the fragrance with a soft warmth.
Mimosa, tulip, and lupin sit at the heart, creating a yellow floral accord that is luminous rather than heady. These flowers give Ko an elegant, clean quality that makes it easy to wear throughout the year.
At the base, tonka bean brings a comforting sweetness and a creamy, vanilla-like texture. The main accords are warm spicy, aromatic, floral, yellow floral, vanillic and sweet, all working together seamlessly.
The fragrance has a rating of 4.38 out of 5, based on 8 ratings and 3 reviews. For a launch from 2024, that is a promising start, and the existing reviews point to a scent that is both pleasant and versatile.
Ko is suited to those who enjoy unisex fragrances with a gentle spicy edge and a floral, sweet drydown. It makes a great everyday choice for men and women who prefer soft, aromatic scents with a warm finish.
Ko De La Patagonia delivers exactly the kind of balanced, wearable fragrance that many people look for. The cardamom adds sparkle, the florals keep it fresh, and the tonka bean leaves a comfortable trail. A lovely addition to the 2024 lineup.

Contrary to the reviews on here, I can only smell cardamom and tonka bean—i.e., a soft, pleasant spice and a hint of vanilla. It doesn’t stand out at all, has little projection, and is very soft; to my nose, it’s just another one in the crowd, leaning towards feminine unisex. Asher is a thousand times better.
It’s very floral but unisex; it’s fresh but to my mind wintry and for daytime. It lasts for ages and makes its presence felt. The scents from De la Patagonia are out of the ordinary, and you really feel as though you’re next to a river with masses of floral vegetation. For everyday use or quiet dates (having a snack, lunch), it’s the ideal choice.
Like its sibling Kosten, it’s a very long-lasting fragrance. It feels aquatic, creamy and floral; flowers dominate, and at the beginning there’s a very rich cardamom. Thoroughly recommendable.
