About Kosten
Kosten De La Patagonia for Men: A Woody Scent with an Aromatic Touch
De La Patagonia launched Kosten in 2024, a masculine fragrance within the woody olfactory family.
It opens with lavender, neroli and citron, moves into a heart of cedar and oud wood, and finishes with a base of sandalwood, patchouli and labdanum.
Kosten is defined by woody accords, with patchouli, oud and lavender also making their presence felt. Amber, warm spices, aromatic notes, powder, fresh spices and balsamic touches round out the profile, giving it both an invigorating and a comforting character.
The top notes are the most aromatic, with lavender and neroli setting a clean tone and citron supplying a citrusy edge. Cedar and oud wood then take over in the heart, bringing greater depth and a strong masculine identity.
On the base, sandalwood, patchouli and labdanum create a smooth, earthy and balsamic finish. This final stage softens the composition while keeping its woody character firmly in focus.
So far, Kosten has a rating of 4.5 out of 5, based on ten scores and supported by four written reviews. For those who favour woody masculines, it is a well-constructed option with a clear sense of direction.
This fragrance will suit men who are drawn to woody, oud-rich scents and enjoy a patchouli backbone. It is also a strong candidate for anyone wanting a warm, aromatic perfume for autumn, winter or evening occasions.
Kosten De La Patagonia for Men is an accomplished woody fragrance, balancing fresh aromatics with a warm, balsamic base. An attractive choice for a confident, masculine signature.

Beautiful fragrance, the best of the three, leaves a trail and lasted 6 to 8 hours on me, worth recommending, and at an affordable price. The only bad thing is the box: it opens from the bottom and the cardboard is soft; the bottle didn’t break on the floor when I opened it, by a miracle. Good cap, nice bottle, excellent fragrance, and the cardboard is a shambles, the worst I’ve seen.
An original, clean, evocative fragrance, with a challenging Neroli that needs suitable noses who appreciate it; otherwise, it can be a somewhat disruptive experience. The first sensation is indeed what it tries to convey from its very name: an ozonic sensation, of soft winds among the leaves of trees in Patagonian woodlands, and a morning, rugged atmosphere. It is the best part of the perfume. On the drydown, it is linear and does not evolve beyond the opening. However, it is bearable, and if what you seek is to smell different, this is an excellent choice. Challenging, but gentle. A little wild, yet in a harmonious way. Good author work and a definitely interesting pursuit. We will keep testing its maceration and evolution. 8/10
Unique; I’ve never smelt the aroma of this perfume before. The advertising refers to being in a Patagonian forest, and it is exactly that. It has a moderate but noticeable sillage because it is so distinctive; it gets compliments, lasts strongly for 2 hours, and by 4 hours it lingers, but I can smell it on skin or clothes even after 10 hours. It comes in 50ml bottles and has a unique design. In a world where everyone smells of Arabian perfume, having this one or the Ko sets you apart.
Simply astonishing; it’s something I’ve never smelt in any perfume. It genuinely smells of kosten (meaning strong wind) in a Patagonian forest; here the lenga note is missing, a type of wood indigenous to Patagonia that gives it a very different touch from any woody scent on the market. Lavender is very present at the opening, with a mid-base similar to incense, typical of patchouli. A completely recommended olfactory experience.

Simply surprising, it is something I had never smelt in any perfume. It really smells of kosten (meaning strong wind) in a Patagonian forest; here the lenga note is missing, a type of native Patagonian wood that gives it a very different touch from any woody scent on the market. Lavender is very present at the start of the fragrance, with a middle base similar to incense, typical of patchouli. A totally recommended olfactory experience.
An original, clean, evocative fragrance, with a challenging neroli that requires attuned noses and a liking for it; otherwise, it can be a somewhat disruptive experience.
