What makes Baroque stand out is the balance between sweetness and spice: orange blossom at the top, a rich vanilla-and-ginger centre, and a warm amber trail. It feels as much at home on a night out as on a quiet weekend.
The opening is all about orange blossom and white flowers, giving Baroque a fresh, airy start. It's a lovely contrast to what follows, because the composition soon becomes softer, sweeter and more enveloping.
In the heart, vanilla absolute and vanilla create a creamy depth. Ginger, cardamom and sugar add a gentle sparkle, while a pastry note nods to the gourmand side of the fragrance. Sambac jasmine is also there, lending a creamy floral nuance that prevents the overall effect from becoming too heavy.
