It sets luminous citrus and seasoning spice against pale timber, keeping the whole composition airy and refined.
Italian lemon, bergamot, coriander and juniper berries form the top. The effect is zesty and herbaceous, with a distinctly coastal freshness.
At the centre, ginger, nutmeg and geranium enliven sandalwood and driftwood. The spices lend warmth, while the driftwood brings that smooth, salt-worn character.
Atlas cedar, vetiver, musk and amber shape the base. Dry yet mellow, it lets the woods linger gracefully.
The stated facets — woody, aromatic, fresh spicy, citrus and marine — come through in turn. Rather than leaning aquatic, the marine impression comes from timber touched by wind and spray.
