Rather than stark freshness, it offers layered comfort: lively spice at first, a milky and floral middle, then a mellow balsamic woodiness.
Pink pepper and grey amber open the composition. The pepper feels bright and rosy with gentle piquancy, the grey amber lends a sheer mineral salinity.
Milk and musk shape the heart. The milk accord is creamy and powdery, while musk enhances the impression of freshly softened skin.
Orange blossom lifts with delicate white petals, tonka bean brings a vanilla almond roundness, and saffron adds warm spiciness with the merest hint of leather.
Benzoin, labdanum, ambroxan and sandalwood form the base. Benzoin and labdanum give an ambery, balsamic warmth, ambroxan draws out the woody mineral line, and sandalwood supplies a calm, creamy finish.
Taken together, it feels ambery, musky, lactonic and sweet, with powdery, vanilla, woody and balsamic shading. A finely judged animalic whisper keeps it from feeling too pristine.
