Azuris by D:SOL MMXVI is a woody-aromatic fragrance for women and men, introduced in 2026. It joins the house as a new creation.
Perfumer Michael Nordstrand shapes it around sea air, orchard fruit and pale timber.
At the top are green mandarin, pink pepper, ginger, sea salt and basil. Bright, herbal and lightly peppered, with a saline freshness running through.
The middle features pear, orris, cypress, angelica and myrtle. The pear softens the green charge, while orris lends a powdery, well-pressed character.
Underneath lie cedarwood, violet leaf, oak, red fir, musk and Nootka. These are lean, green-tinged woods, mellowed by a fresh musk.
The whole remains woody, aromatic and gently fruity, with musky, sweet and aquatic nuances. Spice stays in the background, more lift than heat.
It has the feel of a coastal copse on a fine morning — orderly, breezy and natural, suited to daytime and warmer seasons.
It will suit those who favour refined unisex woody aromatics with verdant notes, powdery orris and a clean musky-wood drydown.
