Oasis by Maison Alhambra is a Fruity Chypre fragrance for women and men. It sets a vivid, juicy fruity prelude against a mossy and woody foundation.
Its composition favours citrus and orchard-and-berry notes at the outset, a bouquet of white and yellow blossoms at its centre, and patchouli, moss, cedar, vanilla and musk underneath.
At the top are bergamot, pear, strawberry, orange and raspberry. The impression is zesty and mouth-watering, with lively bergamot and orange tempered by the gentle sweetness and light acidity of pear and red berries.
The middle brings jasmine, ylang-ylang, orange blossom and patchouli. White blossom and yellow blossom notes lend radiance and a softly creamy quality, while patchouli lends an earthy counterpoint.
Underneath, that patchouli continues alongside moss, cedar, vanilla and musk. Moss provides the familiar chypre framework, cedar shapes the woody side, and vanilla with musk lends a smooth, mellow close.
