From J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin, Wintergarten arrived in 2026 as an Oriental Vanilla for women and men, composed by Véronique Nyberg. The mood is sheltered and wintry, built around spice, blossom and gourmand warmth.
Bergamot, cardamom and incense shape the opening. The bergamot keeps things lifted, the cardamom glows, and the incense lays a pale smokiness over the top.
At the centre, dark chocolate and cacao bring depth and comfort. Rose lends a poised floral line, vanilla turns the sweetness creamy, and orchid softens the edges with a fine powdery finish.
Siam benzoin, suede and myrrh form the base. Benzoin offers amber and balsam, myrrh a resinous undertow, and suede a supple, brushed-leather softness.
The overall palette runs ambery, warmly spiced, balsamic and sweet, touched with smoke, leather, vanilla, roses and blossom over powder. Nothing jars; the fragrance moves steadily from light into glow.
Picture stepping from frost into a heated glasshouse lined with wood. It wears intimate and cosy, well suited to cold days and quiet nights when that spiced, vanillic warmth feels most inviting.
