I thought this was a brilliant idea for those who love vanilla but suffer in summer with perfumes that are so sweet you feel like bees are chasing you. It’s sweet yet refreshing; to my nose, it smells like a caramel salt Frappuccino, while to my palate it tastes like one. The salt balances the sweetness without being cloying and adds a welcome freshness on hot days. Longevity is scarce to moderate, and the trail is also moderate.

Wow, what a beautiful perfume, almost unreal; it’s one of the finest vanillas I’ve ever smelled, so natural, caramelised and slightly toasted. Soon afterwards, the amber and juniper join in, but the vanilla and caramel are so intoxicating that I don’t notice the floral or marine notes. Vanille Marine by Molinard has me completely captivated; it’s incredible that with vanilla, caramel and amber it isn’t cloying, just sweet. I want it in my collection, although I’d like it to last longer—something that needs more sprays to last the day. For vanilla lovers, this is one of their best options.

Soon the amber and juniper join in, but the vanilla and caramel are so intoxicating that I don’t notice the floral or marine notes. Vanille Marine by Molinard has completely captivated me; incredible that with vanilla, caramel and amber it isn’t cloying, just sweet. I love it and want it in my collection. I wish it lasted longer, but a few more sprays fix that. For vanilla lovers, it’s one of the best options.

A very natural vanilla, not cloying, with a short sillage. I would have liked it to be more potent with a sweeter opening. The marine note is subtle and provides balance to this Molinard creation, where I detect nothing green. The fragrance lasts for hours but barely above the skin, nothing remarkable. Perhaps it works better as a body splash, which doesn’t make it bad, just lacking body to my taste. I recommend it for middle-aged people, for informal use on summer afternoons and casual wear.

One of the most special perfumes I’ve tried; if you like gourmands, this is a must-have :3 Perfect for summer, refreshing yet sweet at the same time. Smells like ocean with salty caramel, but not cloying; the herbs and sea water balance it beautifully. I’ve read it’s described as ‘eating vanilla ice cream by the sea’ and I couldn’t agree more!! <3
