What a powerhouse this fragrance is! Freshness, woods, spices, roots, vetiver, iris… it’s the best niche-smelling spiced and woody scent out there. Just Jack is one of those that leaves you expecting nothing, only to deliver a beast of 12-hour longevity. It starts with a punch of bergamot, iris, and sandalwood, followed by fragrant green apple, then relaxed vetiver and other well-blended spices. If I buy it again and again, the quality versus price is simply unbeatable. It reminds me of Pi Fraiche if it had more of that, and a decant of Tom Ford’s Vert d’Encens in the spiced notes. It’s like two jewels fused together to create Just Jack. What do you think?
At first, it smells of synthetic pine, but the dry-down is excellent. It garners plenty of compliments and is perfect for cold weather.
