  What a shame they no longer sell it. Here, Pi by Givenchy shone on its own, it’s an exquisite fragrance that doesn’t bore at all like the original.

  I loved the original Pi by Givenchy, but some notes felt heavy and hard to wear. This flanker, now discontinued, was my salvation: I enjoyed Pi the way I liked it, softer, more sophisticated, and without bitterness. Strangely, I associated it with spring, although Fraîche had little sillage in that season; with this one, the trail and longevity were noticeably better. A sweet, elegant, very chic, and well-made perfume. I enjoyed it immensely and it made me feel great while it accompanied me.

  A date with citrus, sweet florals, and a candied touch, plus a silky amber that balances warmth and freshness. It evolves into a vanilla ice-cream scent with subtle green notes. Pi Fraiche feels so current it seems made for now; perhaps not ahead of its time, but it will delight collectors who follow trends, as it smells distinct and uncommon thanks to its pyramid. It’s sensual and versatile, unisex, where sophistication and informality play nicely together, blending resins, gourmand sweetness, and clean tones. It’s not as potent or dense as the original, but rather a relaxed, casual version. Performance and projection are moderate, though it has good skin longevity. Reminds me of Au Masculin by Lolita Lempicka, Rochas Man, Jaïpur by Boucheron, and Very Irrésistible Fresh Attitude. Another creative work by Alberto Morillas, tasty and kind. The bottle is gorgeous, a rarity for Givenchy, which usually opts for sober designs. A lovely flanker and hard to find. Always adds to the collection. Rating: 8.5/10

Pi Fraiche feels so current it seems made for today; perhaps not ahead of its time, but it will please collectors seeking trends, as it smells different and less common thanks to its pyramid. It’s sensual and versatile, unisex, where sophistication and informality play to their advantage by combining resins, a gourmand sweetness, and clean tones; it’s not as potent or dense as the original, but rather a relaxed reinterpretation. Performance and projection are moderate with good longevity. Reminds me of Au Masculin by Lolita Lempicka, Rochas Man, Jaïpur by Boucheron, and Very Irrésistible Fresh Attitude. It’s another creative and tasty work by Alberto Morillas. Its bottle is one of the most beautiful in designer perfumery, a rarity for Givenchy, which usually uses simple geometries. I think it’s a precious flanker, hard to get nowadays. Always adds to the collection. Rating: 8.5/10.

  Pi Fraiche by Givenchy for Men is a delightful fragrance; I define it as a delicious vanilla sweet with an elegant and sophisticated floral arrangement. Very wearable now that many people like caramelised perfumes (I hope they can still get them). Cheers.
