What a stunning opening! Fresh and citrusy, with bergamot and fig leaf going absolutely wild—intense yet refreshing all at once. It’s a nod to the year the Lex Oppia law was repealed, that one which limited women’s wealth. ⏱️ At 16 minutes, it smells of bergamot, lemon, fig, and a spicy hint of cardamom. It’s a waking of the senses and a celebration of life’s luxuries. In the Pompeian garden, it blooms anew with the triumph of divine beauty. A celebration of reclaimed freedom that deserves to be treasured like a gem. ⏱️ At 1 hour 16 minutes: incense, leather, black tea, and woods—absolutely love it. ⏱️ At 2 hours: the oud takes charge, dominating the woods and incense, though the bergamot lingers subtly in the background. ⏱️ At 3 hours: the oud becomes very intense. ⏱️ At 4 hours 23 minutes: it softens, blending wood with patchouli for an earthy touch. ⏱️ At 6 hours: it smells of sweet wood. ⏱️ At 20 hours 33 minutes: it fades from my skin. 💨 Projection and trail are incredibly high.

A proper fig bomb, but with a negative nuance that makes me look at other options in this style. The fig leaf is green and concentrated; here, I sense it as slightly drier than in other alternatives. It kicks off with a sharp, stinging citrus note and spices… As it dries, as they say, it turns a bit bitter, and here the styrax appears. In other fragrances, it drives me absolutely mad. Here, being less prominent, it doesn’t kill me quite so much… but it does condition my experience. I generally like the scent, but the styrax really grates on me. It performs very well and lasts less on cold days, so it can be worn year-round. I don’t see it as formal; I can’t picture myself wearing this to a wedding.

Fig overload. It’s the fig, the leaves, the branches, the whole fig tree… wow! And in the background, that clean oud mixed with cedar. A scent that puts you in a good mood, elegant and conquering. One of my favourites. Trail and longevity are muuuuch too good. Versatile for almost any climate and occasion. I think it shouldn’t be missing from your collection.

This fragrance has a phenomenal opening and a spectacular development; however, when it reaches the dry-down and hits its base, the patchouli and bergamot stand out too much. I don’t enjoy this combination. Those who like it might find it becomes their signature due to its longevity and power. Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked for me.

This fragrance has a phenomenal opening and a spectacular development; however, when it reaches the dry down and hits its base, the patchouli and bergamot stand out too much, and I do not like this combination. For those who like it, perhaps it will become their signature due to the longevity and potency it has. Unfortunately, I did not like it.

What a beast of a fragrance. The fig theme is executed better than anywhere else. It has a pungent green vibe, ‘shrill’ just enough, very alive, vibrant, and full of energy. The general tone is herbal, fruity, and woody. The English would say it has ‘Buzziness’… but from natural notes that jump out at your nose, especially in the opening. Once it dries down, it pulls back a bit and becomes more at the mercy of the breeze. At this stage, it still smells green, but less lively or citrusy, taking on a bitter character that gives it incredible class. If it has oud, it’s a very westernised version; if it weren’t declared, I’d think it was leather. The first 3 or 4 hours, it projects massively in all directions; if you overapply, you might get fatigued by it. Afterwards, you can be out for another 4 or 5 hours, and every time you move, you become noticeable again. If someone walks near you or you’re loitering, they’ll smell you. On two occasions I wore it to work, and it lasted 24 hours on my shirt. The price isn’t for it to deliver less than this, though there are brands charging the same that deliver far less. Given how well it behaves, how striking it is, and how distinct it feels, for me it offers the value of the price, and I don’t consider it ‘excessively’ expensive.

What a perfume. The fig theme is worked on like no other. It has a pungent green vibe, ‘shrill’ just enough, very alive, vibrant and full of energy. The general tone is herbal, fruity and woody. The British would say it has ‘buzziness’… but from natural notes that jump out at your nose, especially in the opening. Once it dries down, it settles a bit and becomes more at the mercy of the wind. At this point, it still smells green, but less alive or citrusy, and takes on some bitter notes that give it incredible class. If it has oud, it is a very westernised one; if it weren’t declared, I would think it was leather. For the first three or four hours it projects massively in all directions; if you over-apply, you can get tired of it. Afterwards, you can be wearing it for another four or five hours where every time you move, you perceive it again. If someone walks near you or you are loitering, they will smell it. On two occasions I wore it to work and it lasted 24 hours on my shirt. The price is not for it to contribute less than this, but there are also brands that charge the same and contribute much less. For how well it behaves, how striking it is and how distinct, for me it offers the value of the price and I do not consider it ‘excessively’ expensive.
