The Mythos by Zippo is incredible and uncommon; it has facets ranging from fresh to warm. It’s not a perfume that will blow your mind, but for me, it’s a Versace Eros with distinct touches. It seems very similar, though with darker tones due to the musk, making it fresh yet warm all thanks to the amber. It’s a curious perfume, certainly interesting enough to try once. Key ingredients: patchouli, tonka bean, amber, and musk. They used to stock it, but I don’t know if it will return.
The Mythos by Zippo is incredible and uncommon; it has several facets ranging from fresh to warm. It’s not a perfume that will blow your mind, but for me, it’s a Versace Eros with distinct touches. It resembles it in many aspects, though with darker tones due to the musk. This makes it fresh yet warm all thanks to the amber (that bile secretion from the sperm whale that smells like a tobacco pipe as it decomposes in the sea). It’s a curious perfume, certainly not one that blew my head off, but interesting enough to try once. Patchouli, tonka bean, amber, and musk are responsible for multiplying and fixing the aroma. They used to stock it, but I don’t know if it will return.
It starts synthetic, but then it smells like Kaiak Urbe by Natura; once it dries down, that sweet amber reminds me of Versace Eros. The price-to-quality ratio (12-14 dollars) is worth it. I bought it for the bottle, which is a copy of a Zippo lighter, but I was surprised by the scent: moderate trail and about six hours of longevity, perfect for summer day or night.
