Absolute Chypre 绝对素心兰 by RECLASSIFIED RE调香室 is a chypre fragrance for women and men, introduced in 2015. Rather than the stern, mossy character of the traditional chypre, it favours brightness and blossom.
Orange blossom, mandarin, tangerine and bergamot open the composition. Jasmine, mimosa, Turkish rose and ylang-ylang form the heart, resting on tonka bean, patchouli, myrrh, vetiver and white musk. White floral, citrus, sweet, roses and patchouli are the principal accords.
The first impression is fresh and juicy, bergamot and mandarins lending plenty of sparkle. Orange blossom softens the zest at once, adding a clean, luminous whiteness.
At the heart, jasmine and ylang-ylang become creamy with a faintly exotic warmth. Turkish rose lends a classical outline, while powdery mimosa keeps the mood gentle and vernal.
The base is supportive rather than weighty. Patchouli is evident yet restrained, earthy and refined instead of brooding. Tonka bean gives mellow sweetness, myrrh contributes quiet resin, and vetiver with white musk draws out a tidy, airy trail.
